Screaming into the void. Watched a video that said the Murderbot TV show has "pacing issues". And honestly, that’s such a lazy take.
It’s not Marvel. It’s not here to spoon feed you exposition or cram six plot into one episode.
Criticizing Murderbot for “pacing issues” is like complaining that a slow-burn isn't a car chase.
It’s Murderbot. It’s literally a story about an emotionally repressed AI trying to survive corporate murder contracts, social interaction, and its own anxiety. Murderbot is built on gradual trust, emotional repression, and quiet moments of clarity.
The pacing isn’t slow, it’s intentional.
And if your attention span can’t handle 25 minutes of actual character development and worldbuilding, then maybe the problem isn’t the show.
Meanwhile, I’m over here hoping we get a full season per novella. Let each story breathe. Give me one episode per chapter. Let Murderbot pause and think and avoid eye contact like it’s supposed to. You want action? It’s there. You want depth? That’s the whole damn point.
