okay so I've been dead for so long but like a had an ego death but I have a really quick question

why the FUCK is Menagerie still called MENAGERIE???? its disrespectful af and why would you want to still be a resident of a country reminding you of your societally-imposed second class status as a faunus. i would understand if it was in the past as a part of the nation's history but was eventually overturned as more faunus had their voices actually listened to, but why now???? i hate worldbuilding in this show.

to be completely honest, on one hand I’m glad RWBY doesn’t have MLM representation on screen so that they can’t fuck up queer rep even more than they already have. All queer ships deserve decent representation that portrays queer people as real people with actual substance rather than marketing for “woke points”. the only on screen MLM rep RWBY has had in the main series (which is the only thing that really counts let’s be real here) is the pilot who had a husband and then was subsequently killed. the other hand, I’m pissed of because we know why they don’t make MLM relationships in RWBY

- the fetishization is WLW relationships built upon the heterosexual male gaze fueled by (let’s also be real here) marketable capitalism via “merch” (side eyeing that awful $95 BMBLB T-shirt that was literally a screenshot smacked onto a 5 below tshirt)

- the internalized homophobia that male writers have when even attempting to approach MLM relationships that permeates a lot of mainstream media that makes writers (usually male) question their real-life sexuality that they wouldn’t touch with a 10 foot pole

Boy I sure do hope that Viz doesn’t do what CRWBY did (if they even produce V10, as Viz seems to be a redistributing company as it is partnered with other streaming sites more than producing their own work) to their animators and minority-based employees such as:

- Timecrunching with little to no overtime pay, up to 80 hours of work a week.

- Employing fans or new animators and artists to extort them.

- Calling queer employees slurs on the daily and not paying them.

And let’s hope they don’t:

- Employ fucking WEIRDOS (Ryan Haywood)

- Continue to exploit POC/“girl power”/queer people and characters for woke baiting to them treat both said people/characters as one-note side pieces in order to appear “woke”.

Honestly it’s pretty funny that rwby fans can’t just celebrate, they have to take shots at rwde.

RWBY still has a dead fandom, and that is NEVER coming back. Y’all killed it, and you actively harass potentially new fans for daring to not like what fanon demands every fan MUST like without question.

Frankly the fans should be rejoicing that anyone even bothered to pick up that steaming pile of garbage, not taking pot shots at us.

I love how "RWDE" has become a noun in the Anti RWDE circle. You are not a person who happens to be critical of RWBY. You are a thing. A RWDE. Some type of animal. David Attenborough voice: "The pair of rwdes entered the rwby stan watering hole and forever tainted the water with their bad takes." That's what Anti RWDE sounds like. Genuinely hilarious. Know that your anger towards my posts only fuels me and that I do not care. In fact I think it's really funny and will most definitely continue making RWDE posts.
