As an eye doctor, this shouldn't be controversial. It's a problem. 5 years ago, nighttime headlight issues were reserved for people with cataracts or LASIK scars. Today, everyone has problems seeing the road through the oncoming headlights. People are getting anti-glare and blueblocking coatings not bc they are sitting on a computer 8+ hours a day but bc the blue tinted halogens are making them feel unsafe to drive. We are selling insane amounts of yellow tinted nighttime driving glasses even though they're really only for people with cataracts bc ppl are desperate for anything that may help them deal with the headlights. I've had multiple patients tell me they just don't drive at night anymore.

This is an actual safety issue and it needs to be addressed

I am artist but if this machine can make some thing that cool by the help of a specific description I think that's cool as f*ck and would consider it as art for very creative people that doesn't have the art skill it would help express their creativity than just stick figures

Theoretically that’s true but it ignores the fact that AI art programs need to be trained on existing art, nearly always without the artist’s permission, and equally often to their detriment. If you’re an artist imagine i took every piece of art you’ve ever made, plugged it into a computer program without your knowledge or any credit, and started churning out pieces and claiming them as my own. You’d be rightly pissed off, and that’s exactly what has already happened to several online artists both living and very recently dead. AI art programs are overwhelmingly only being used as art theft with more steps. It is a direct threat to your livelihood as an artist and short of heavy handed legal restrictions it is going to get mainly used by companies and businesses to avoid paying you what you deserve for your art. It should be wiped from the face of the earth.
