rewatching the cap movies is such a fucking chore when you know how endgame ends because it’s like “steve refuses to believe bucky is dead and crosses enemy lines to save him from a POW camp” and “steve breaks bucky’s brainwashing by literally just saying his name bc their friendship is that powerful” and “steve starts a war with the US government and half the avengers after finally finding bucky bc he has to clear bucky’s name for a crime he didn’t commit” …… and then you get to endgame and steve is like “oh, that? forget all that. i have to go back in time for this woman i barely know. see ya!” and it makes me homicidal. i will never recover from this
