As much as I love the thought of transfem jax her writing could have been done so much better and could have pushed past the stereotype of being violent and perverted (as seen through abusing the entire circus especially the women and or specifically gangle and zooble [the only people of color if I remember right]) but instead fed directly into the stereotype with the help of goose excusing her as her "self insert" (Which also doesn't help goose's case/feeds into the stereotype more)
#I see so many posts just blowing past the abuse with the excuse “oh u just don't like morally grey characters/ ur just being transphobic”#that still doesn't excuse abuse and or the harmful stereotypes#not to mention the scene with the different abstraction scenarios and when zooble attacks Jax dresses up to insult her and tries to get-#gangle to fuck her (her being Jax in this situation)#like yes#a character can be morally grey#but it cannot feed into harmful stereotypes and or excuse mental/physical/sexual abuse just because “hurt people#hurt people“#(by attacks I' mean 'abstract' my auto correct sucks and Tumblr won't let me fix the tag)
