My first fanart for Final Fantasy XVI, and it's my blorbo, Joshua Rosfield, Dominant of the Phoenix!! He has so many badass moments and fights so hard to protect Clive and Dion.❤️
I'll be drawing icons like this one for other characters! Please look forward to it.🔥

Drawn for Scribbles and Drabbles 2023. (@fall-for-tolkien)
This piece began as a little sketch I drew in class to cure my boredom, but as I rendered it digitally, it quickly became something bigger. Coloring this was challenging, especially with how complicated Galadriel's hair is, and all of the details I added to the piece. I've always wanted to draw Galadriel in Wind Waker style- I think the aesthetic fits her so well, and I'm really happy with how this piece turned out!
Be sure to read @goschatewabn's fic when the collection is revealed!
A DaeMags piece I drew for Scribbles & Drabbles 2023.
(@fall-for-tolkien) I love Daeron and Maglor as a ship so much. Even though we barely get a hint of them (possibly) interacting, the parallels between them are so fascinating, there's so much potential.
Please read the fics by @searchingforserendipity25 and @i-did-not-mean-to when they're revealed in the gallery!
I haven't been drawing in this art style lately, so I'm glad I got to return to it. The original sketch in the gallery is a bit different, as back when I drew that sketch, I had a different headcanon for Maglor's appearance. It's changed since then, and I love drawing Maglor's curls so much! My favorite part of this is Maglor and Daeron's expressions, and their lips especially. I think the ears also turned out really nicely, and they look very elegant, as they should. I might render this piece further in the future if I get the chance, but right now I'm actually very happy with it.
Here's my piece for this year's @tolkienrsb! This is my first time participating and I'm so excited to share what I've been working on with my fic author🥰️
In this piece, Celebrimbor reunites with his family in the Halls of Mandos, hoping to reconcile with them. You'll find out what happens in @goschatewabn's fic when the collection goes live!
This piece, like many of my others, is drawn in the style of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. But this time, I took inspiration from the stained glass concept art from the game and decided to imitate the effect. It took a ton of work- I did a lot of the flat colors and shading all in one day. But I'm glad I was able to challenge myself with such a complex composition!
(From top to bottom, left to right: Nienna, Maedhros, Fëanor, Maglor, Celegorm, Curufin, Celebrimbor, Caranthir, Amrod, Amras)
“When all of this is over, will you come to wake me up?”
have a colored sketch of my favorite incarnations of link and zelda! i drew this a couple of years ago for the remake’s release. i love that they’re childhood friends instead of just hero and princess, it makes me love their relationship even more. i hope we get a sequel to skyward sword one day, it’s my favorite zelda game!
“But wherefore should Middle-earth remain for ever desolate and dark, whereas the Elves could make it as fair as Eressëa, nay, even as Valinor?”
Still in love with my Annatar cosplay and the beautiful photos I took with @falindis! These pillars really matched Annatar’s aesthetic so well! And that pleading expression… how could the Elves resist?

“Then many who went leaderless, dispossessed but undaunted, took heart again, and came to seek the Two Captains. Dor-Cúarthol, the Land of Bow and Helm, was in that time named all the region between Teiglin and the west march of Doriath.”
Here’s my Tolkien Secret Santa piece! Happy Holidays, @lentilmento, I hope you enjoy your gift!
I drew Beleg and Túrin at Dor-Cúarthol, protecting the land together. The poses are taken from official art for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, which had its 20th anniversary this month. I like combining my interests together, so I thought I’d give an homage to one of my favorite Zelda games and my first Silmarillion ship! Turleg is one of my favorite ships and I was so excited to draw them! ♥
Thank you so much to the mods at @officialtolkiensecretsanta for organizing this event. I had a lot of fun creating for this exchange!
“But Maedhros restrained his brothers, and they departed from the council, and soon afterwards they left Mithrim and went eastward beyond Aros to the wide lands about the Hill of Himring.”
chibi maedhros sketch for feanorian week! i wanted to draw him in ceremonial garb that he might wear in himring.
If you're still taking drabble prompts, silvergifting and 27?
“I feel your absence in everything that I do alone, in every place I go without you.” ♥

It will not be much longer, now, before Sauron’s forces completely overrun Eriador. Everything seems to be going according to plan— the corpses, ashes, ruined structures left in the wake of his armies are evidence enough.
But this plan should not have been necessary in the first place, and of that Sauron is painfully aware, his heart still enflamed with the sting of betrayal. To think, if the stupid Elf had just told him where the Three were, so many lives could have been spared, none of this would have needed to happen! And he could even find it in his heart to forgive the Elf for making the rings without him, for even Sauron is not without mercy.
The stupid Elf had a name, didn’t he? Ah. Now I remember, Sauron hums to himself, but how could I ever forget? He returns to his delusions, feelings he tried and failed to bury with each fatal swing of the death-hammer, now clinging to life like roaches.
“Celebrimbor,” Sauron recalls, laments, his voice dripping with affection, “my sweet Tyelpë.”
He lifts a limp hand from a faceless corpse— he recognizes it, from the burnt-away clothing, as one of the survivors from the fall of Eregion— and he holds the hand against his cheek, kissing the cold flesh, taking in every callus and every scar. How inconvenient these feelings were, as he found himself caressing a smithing-hand that did not even belong to Tyelpë, and wasting time when he should be preparing for battle. If only he had turned Tyelpë to his side, so that his beloved could rule alongside him, and make all others bend to their will.
Only Tyelpë had the hands and mind to match Sauron’s own, to bring forth in the world objects of great power and beauty that would transform the shape of Arda itself. For Tyelpë’s fëa could sing with Sauron in such perfect harmony, and no other Incarnate could ever lay claim to his heart.
Together, they would have conquered all.
Sauron lets the limp hand fall into the dirt, gazing at the gold band around his finger with tainted pride. Though he will soon have all of the power he desires, once the Three are in his grasp, the new world he will create is one he must rule alone. That was his plan, the day he first arrived in Eregion, though Tyelpë had changed all of that; it was not long before Sauron dreamed of Tyelpë, sitting beside him on the throne of the world.
But that dream, Sauron reminds himself again, is now forever lost; in fact, he was never meant to have it, for in spite of all of Tyelpë’s precious qualities, he never would have understood Sauron’s truest visions and desires. They were always meant to be on opposite sides of this war.
And Tyelpë had won.
Everyone Sauron loves is always destined to leave, and he will always be left with an endless void in his heart.
No more will Sauron attempt fruitlessly to rekindle these useless feelings, he vows. For now, he has nothing left to lose but the power he has amassed for himself.
There can only be one Dark Lord on the throne, and it must be Sauron alone.

The square in Castle Town was much livelier than usual today- the harvest festival had arrived, and the vendors had placed the best of their crops on display for all who passed by. Link was in awe at all of the food stands; there were so many varieties, many which grew outside their Kokiri Forest home. It was a bit overwhelming, especially since Link had only left the forest a few days ago, but Zelda insisted on showing Link around town before they were to leave on their dangerous quest. “Who knows how much time we’ll have left together?” asked Zelda- there was a strange sense of foreboding in her voice, though Link dismissed those worries. “Besides, if you’re going to be the hero like my dreams said,” Zelda explained, “you ought to be well-fed, right?”
Link nodded, chuckling a bit. “I guess I can’t argue with that.”
And there was a breadth of food choices, too. One stand, on the far side of the fountain, was decorated in bright red and orange colors, boxes atop the stand filled to the brim with shiny apples in red, green and yellow. Link immediately made their way over to the stand, digging through their pocket to see if they had enough Rupees...
“Nope! No need for that,” Zelda insisted. “I’ll buy whatever you like. Promise!”
“W-wait, are you sure, Princess...?” Link’s cheeks turned as red as the apples they were eyeing. “I... I thought I had enough...”
“It’s for your grand quest, right? I want to help as much as I can,” Zelda declared, opening up her Wallet. “Now, which ones look the tastiest to you?”
“Um... the red ones. Those don’t grow in the forest.”
“Just as you wish!”
And with that, Zelda and Link ended up walking away with a small sack of apples- way more than Link expected.
Finding a shady tree growing in the square, Link and Zelda settled down against the trunk, sharing apples, stories from their homes, and learning about each other. Link definitely had a sense of humor- a love for pranks that they shared with Zelda, as they soon discovered.
“Turns out, Mido didn’t see the leaves were covering up a pitfall...” Link said with a smirk.
“Hah!” Zelda clapped her hands together in satisfaction. “I knew you’d get back at him! I just knew you would. He absolutely deserved it. I would’ve done the same.”
“You? But you’re a princess...”
“You wouldn’t believe how often I get into trouble, Link. Being a princess just means it’s easier for me to get away with it.”
Link and Zelda continued to enjoy the sights, sounds and exciting experiences of the harvest festival- and before they knew it, the sun had begun to set. “Hurry!” Zelda cried out. “I know a place where we can watch the sunset together.” Zelda grabbed Link by the hand, pulling them along past an ornately decorated gate, into a field, and up a flowery hill.
“Oh...! It’s so pretty...!”
“I know, right, Link? Even better now that I get to watch it with you!”
Taking in the view at the top of the hill, leaves in beautiful colors scattered about, matching the hues of the sunset- Link and Zelda found their fingers intertwined without thinking. It had been a long, eventful day. Link could forget about the journey ahead for a little while, Zelda didn’t have to worry about her duties at the castle. They could just be Link and Zelda; they could embrace their newfound friendship.
“Hey, Link. You know how I’ve been having those dreams lately... can I tell you a secret?” Zelda asked, turning to face Link.
“Sure, what is it?”
“We’ve only just met... and yet it feels like I’ve known you for a lifetime,” Zelda admitted. “Do you feel it, too, Link?”
Link’s eyes widened- something seemed to click, then, inside their head. Zelda’s words echoed, in a part of Link’s memory they never knew about, across the ages, in realms they couldn’t recognize, histories untold- and Link understood, then, what it meant, to be the child garbed in green appearing in Zelda’s dreams.
Link replied silently, with a nod, and a knowing, gentle smile.
hi, i made a personal at @solmarillion !! i’ll reblog stuff here and post my rambles. it’ll probably be a lot of silmarillion and zelda tbh. looking forward to using this site more!
“Don’t cry, Nóm,” Balan murmured, wiping tears from his lover’s eyes. “It’s alright...it was her time...”
“But she is gone!” Finrod cried. “Gone, and you all watched it, and saw her decline—ai, Balan, how can you bear the weight of it?”
“How can you bear the weight of eternity?” Balan asked. The word he used was oira, a Quenya term, for until now no mortal had any need for the concept of forever, of endlessness. “To live always, and watch the world change around you?”
“For all it is the Quendi who are bound to Arda, and the Atani who are guests here, it seems to me you are better suited to a world of growth and decay,” Finrod whispered. He clutched Balan’s hands tightly. “Ai, beloved—already my breaks for thee. What shall I do when you are gone?”
“Have no fear, and do not weep, dear Nóm,” Balan said, firmly clasping his lover’s hands between his own. “I shall follow you home when you must depart, and leave the leadership of my people to my sons; and when old age guides me into death and the world beyond, I will leave with you my memory.”
But this was little comfort to Finrod, who had lived many times the span of a single mortal life, and he wept all the harder. If he grieved now for the peaceful passing of Balan’s great-aunt, how shattered would he be to lose Balan himself, beyond even the reach of Mandos?
“Don’t cry, don’t cry,” Balan whispered again and again, and held Finrod for as long as he could, as long as his mortal life would allow.
