The blindfold Au

This is kind of just an art and idea dump that has been in my head for a bit. So I just vomited it all up on this post.

So you guys remember the Truthless recules and Sage of truth Au. And the alternate universe story. So this is kind of an Au inside an Au. So stick with me.

So, the peak of truth is accessible to only those who have the will and mental fortitude, enabling them to reach enlightenment. But those cookies are not common. But how will the learning of the truth affects the individual differently from person to person.

So far only the Truthless recluse and the sage of truth have ever been to the peak. And they were changed forever, in not just in outlook but also life span and power.

Truthless recluse has been doing everything he can to protect his frind/love from going to the peak themselves. Getting hurt by the truth, and to never remove the protive blind fold.

Sage of Truth on the other hand, wants Y/n to become enlightened like him. To remove the blind fold. Hoping that they will see the truth like he does.

So the whole story revolves around Truthless Reclus, who wants to keep Y/n safe, while Sage of Truth hopes to find someone who can finally stand by his side.... And we won't have to be lonely anymore.

This was so much fun to listen to! I gotta say, you did a great job for trying to voice all of the boneheads at once. Some of the voices might not be exactly like how they originally sound, but I really like the delivery for the characters. Everyone sounds so casual, which is probably my favorite part about all the voices combined. ^^

Now in part 1 I started to ponder who was this mysterious man of power who charged AZ with the creation of Ange?

And in part two I theorized this mysterious Benefactor was the one who activated Ange 3 years prior to the events of Legends ZA

But I had said that they had intended for Ange to be stopped, why? Well my friends because Ange was a means to end, a way to create Hyperspace Lumiose

Did you ever wonder exactly how Darkrai was in Prism Tower to absorb all the infinity energy?

Darkrai is from Sinnoh isn’t he?

Well I believe this Benefactors plan was for Mega Darkrai to grow so unstable both Lumiose City & Hyperspace Lumiose would collide?

Why?

Well to draw out the attention and protection of a certain pokemon….the original one

I just gotta say I adore this scene so much! It's so cute and heart-warming. However, when you think of the last episode, it's rather heart-breaking. "I want to stay with you forever...". Then do! Why did he have to leave?

As for the dub, guess what. It's changed. Yugi is telling Yami he feels like a total loser! He says that he nearly lost Yami and the Puzzle forever! He can't face the enemy! Yami replied that in all his years, he's never encountered a soul as brave as Yugi's. There's a reason fate gave Yugi the Puzzle. After that, Yugi thinks their enemy must have a Millennium Item, and Atem agrees. Yugi wonders how they stop him, and Yami reassures him that as long as they stay connected, they'll fight together. "What if I fail again?" Yugi pleads. "How do I know I won't lose you?" "I believe in you," the spirit says.

Yugi and Yami's dialog has been completely rewritten throughout this ep, and an important plotline totally tossed aside.

“Whoah! C-calm down! I’m not gonna hurt you!” Yugi called out in worry as Atem struggled in the rocks he was caught against. He cautiously stood up, making his way over slowly so he didn’t scare the poor merfolk more than he already was. With gentle hands, he freed the poor merman’s tail from the rocks and stepped back so he could escape. The rashes clearly visible on his skin as he moved away. “There you go. Sorry I startled you. Take care!” With a wave towards the merfolk, he decided to leave him in peace. Making his way towards his home where grandpa eagerly awaited his arrival, he hummed softly. The poor guy… he didn’t mean to scare him… 

Atem froze when Yugi approached him. He felt those gentle hands move over the shining red fishscales and watched as the human worked on freeing the trapped tail. It was then that he noticed those rashes form and worsen on the boy’s hands. But before he could say or do anything, he was suddenly free and the human was backing away.

“W….ait…”

The prince was unsure what to do now. He heard enough human speak to understand what the other was saying to him and could speak a little of it too. He wanted to thank the human for saving him, but there wasn’t a way to get close. The merman also couldn’t help but feel bad about those rashes, feeling responsible for the discomfort somehow.

He tried to swim up the river to follow Yugi. It was difficult, but he managed to stay close enough to see which house he went into. Suddenly he had a plan. On the nearest shore he would sing to the human. It would be dangerous since it was close to a neighbourhood, but if he did it at night it would reduce that risk of danger.

When the sky darkened and the moon rose, Atem moved to the shore of the river. He propped himself up on the wet sand and started to sing, hoping the other would hear…
