For anyone new or this being the first post you see about this fanfiction, let me explain a little.
This story follows the narrative of a demigod who was asked to be written out of history once upon a time, when everything was going down. You'll get to see the side of the PJO series that not even Percy got to see in his dreams.
The demigod's name is Cameron Allen, she's the daughter of Nike, that is destined to lose what she loves the most. How ironic. Before she knew she was a demigod, she had an encounter with a cyclops, and was saved by a young man. Cameron and this boy get along great, and he hangs around her town for a couple months.
Cameron and this demigod had become close, but lost connection with one another after they tried to runaway, due to the way Cameron was being treated at home.
Four years later, and the truth comes out. Cameron is a demigod, and she's being sent to Camp Half-Blood! When she gets there, Cameron has an unexpected surprise waiting for her.
When she gets her prophecy, her whole life feels like it's been turned upside down. For years, her prophecy follows her around, leaving her in a state of constant worry. Because of her prophecy, she became a full-time camper at CHB.
When a certain master bolt goes missing, Cameron knows her prophecy is only beginning, but her main question:
"Who is the Lighting Thief?"
Not only was she destined to lose, but she's been destined to be seen as a traitor, meaning eventually, all the friends she's made in her four years of camp, she has to betray them, and that doesn't sit right.
Her goal is to protect her father, prevent a dream- that she's been having since the night she got her prophecy- from happening, which is to keep her boyfriend, Luke Castellan, alive.
This fanfiction will follow her beginning, into the PJO series. The fic is being written as closely to the books as possible (meaning I'm studying page by page) so no major details are really altered. Once her PJO arc is done, I do have plans on writing out her HoO arc.
If you find yourself enjoying this fic, and you know someone else who might like it, please, share this around! Even if you don't read Percy Jackson, but know someone who does, send them this story!
Chapters are posted every Friday OR Saturday, unless announced otherwise. There are some weekends where I feel generous and even publish a bonus chapter (and it doesn't affect the next chapter's post date whatsoever)
