Superman: Hey Cap! You uh, okay. . ?
Captain Marvel who's been talking to his own shadow for the last 12 minutes: Yeah? What do you mean, I'm doing *turns back to shadow* shush I'm talking *turns back* fine.
Justice league who've paused the meeting to watch him talk to his shadow: uh-huh. . .
Hal: Who are you, talking to?
Captain marvel: *Looks at him like he's dumb* the gods?
Captain Marvel: Oh, you dont know! So the gods recently realized that if they used the shadows around the room, they could speak to me.
Batman: The gods in your head are. . . Speaking to you through the shadows now? *squints*
Captain Marvel: Thats right! *big sunny smile*
Batman, who's never gotten proof that the gods actually talk to him: Right.
Wonder Woman: Tell my father that I say hi, Marvel.
Aquaman, elbows her softly: *whispering* dont play into it.
Captain Marvel, running over to superman: Supes!
Superman: Hey Cap! What do you need?
Captain Marvel: So you have access to a farm right?
Superman: Uh, yup! What about it?
Captain Marvel: and you have pigs on your farm?
Superman, not liking where this is going: Yeah. . .
Captain Marvel: So weird question but I need *pulls a note pad out of a nonexistent pocket and flips through it* a bucket of pigs blood?
Superman: *horrified* What? Why? What?
Captain Marvel: The gods want a offering and they are really specific *shrugs*
Superman: I'll, um, check with ma?
Captain Marvel: Thank you man you are a lifesaver! I did not want to have to do that again. *turns and leaves*
Superman: Wait do what? What did you do? Cap I know you can here me come back!
Captain Marvel: Wonder Woman, just the person I needed to see! *holds out a small wrapped box*
Diana: *takes the box* Captain Marvel, good to see you too, What is this?
Captain Marvel: Im not sure? Zeus said to bring it to you and that you'd know what to do with it.
Diana: Ah, a gift from my father. . ? *eyes Captain Marvel suspiciously* right.
Captain Marvel: well, anyway, I hope you like whatever he got you!
Diana: Im sure I will. . .
Hal, reading off a small sculpture: Hey Cap, come over here.
Captain Marvel: Whats up?
Hal: You know greek, right?
Captain Marvel: A little, I found a few scrolls at the rock, and Solomon is helping me learn.
Hal: Right. Anyway, you know what this says? *hands the sculpture to him*
Captain Marvel: hm. . . I think its talking about, stars?
Hal: I knew it! Thanks man! *slaps him on the back and walks out the room with the sculpture* maybe your gods do exist after all!
Captain Marvel, in the training room walking around: *humming*
Flash: Cap! I haven't seen you in here for awhile, finally deciding to take me up on that race? *elbows him at super-speed*
Captain Marvel: *laughs* Nope, racing you reminds me of training with Mercury.
Captain Marvel: The god? Uh, he like, sends messages for the other gods?
Flash: And you've, seen him?
Captain Marvel: Yeah, Of course? How else would I train with him?
Flash: *gently* why haven't. . . Um, we seen him yet?
Captain Marvel: The gods only reveal themselves to people they trust, I think I'm one of the only mortals who've seen them all in a long time?
Flash: So basically, only you can see the gods?
Flash: Okay, uh, I have to go back to my city? I'll see you later! *runs out while dialing Hals number*
Captain Marvel: See you later?
*Captain Marvel had to skip out on a meeting because he got grounded for doing hero work instead of homework, not that JL know that*
Barry: What are we going to do about Marvels, uh, friends? They're his friends right?
Hal: oh thank god I didn't want to be the one to say something.
Diana: I for one, believe him.
Hal: *incredulously* Why?
Diana: The gods work in mysterious ways, my, father for one is the type of God to enjoy meddling in human activities, especially using someone. . . Moldable, like captain marvel.
Batman: So you think the gods are, using him?
Diana: I couldn't say that's what they're definitely doing, but, it wouldn't surprise me if they were. . .
Superman: But we haven't even seen proof of his gods? How can we say that's happening if we dont even know they are actually talking to him?
Aquaman: Kal-El is right, we shouldn't act without proof, untill he gives us concrete evidence we should act as if his gods are truly a, hallucination.
Barry: should we say something to him?
Hal: Like an intervention?
Batman: . . .This Friday, the sooner we talk to him the sooner we can get him help, regardless of if his gods are real or, not.
