Okay, so for the ones just now getting around to it or still trying to figure out what's going down on the site- here's the lowdown: Some jerk got on rp.me and put a bug out there. Don't worry though. It was caught pretty quickly! The idiot didn't get far. First step is DON'T PANIC. Now, everyone needs to check their pages for the virus code. IMPORTANT!!!! DO NOT OPEN ANY MESSAGES!!! DELETE THEM NO MATTER WHO THEY ARE FROM!!! Even if it's from your wp or LI, it's most likely NOT. It's fake. The messages will have weird titles like 'Hey, do you know this guy?' or 'Can you help me with this?' or something along those lines. DO NOT OPEN THEM. YEET those suckers straight into the trash bin. Now- I am sending you what was sent to me: Check your profile for coding under ALL sections. If there is a string of coding you don't recognize, yeet it. Delete it. Do NOT visit any profiles until this shit is straightened out. Change your passwords, especially if you got a pop up. Block Pop ups, activate a virus scanner. Back up your information on your page, like layout, just if in case RPME decides to do a full on wipe. Set your profile to private ( make sure it wasn't changed to public ) It is also in the blog layout or your groups layout or can hide in picture coding. Check that too when you can. Okay, so to wrap up: DO NOT answer messages NO MATTER WHO THEY ARE FROM. DO NOT LOOK AT ANY PROFILES, EVEN YOUR FRIENDS. It is a malicious coding that has multiple ways of infecting you. CHECK YOUR CODE. CHECK BLOG. CHECK GROUPS. CHECK PICS. It is turning everyone's private profiles public, possibly collecting IP addresses. Make sure if you had a previously private profile that it still is. The way this thing is spreading is when someone looks at the message it sends, it embeds the code and turns the profile public, and sends out a message to anyone who looks at the profile or has recently. Then process repeats. If you were infected with the malicious coding or got a pop-up, clear your profile of the coding, clear all caches/recycle bins, cookies, and change your passwords. You do not need to delete your profile, group or blog. Just the coding. Good luck to us all as this hopefully gets addressed and fixed. And thank you to the ones who caught this quickly and warned the rest of us so it didn't get any further than it did!! I'm just a messenger passing the info along to keep the info going.

realmroleplay.com has the worst, most two faced jerk of an owner, she will ban you for simply asking if you can get help accessing a page of your own that she suddenly decided to lock you out of even when you spend all your time being respectful and polite to her and following all the TOS of the site perfectly. She goes by the name Gage which is her character that uses Gerard Way as a playby. I was banned from the site once, then when all the friends I had there left because I'd been banned, she suddenly apologized to me and begged me to come back, then about six months later, did exactly the same thing to me by banning me yet again for absolutely no reason whatsoever. I think people need to know to stay away from there, it's a shit show of misery and drama, I'd thought roleplayer.me was bad, but realmroleplay.com is 100 times worse with two faced drama and completely needless stress.

We NEED to get Net Neutrality trending again.

This is enough. Ajit Pai has already succeded MULTIPLE TIMES and you can expect the full removal of net neutrality on APRIL 23RD OF THIS YEAR. We can still contact our senators, we can still fight as hrd as we can, but even though 23 states are suposedly suing for the repeal of this, we need to help it along.

In case people forgot what Net Neutrality is: it is a series of laws that ensure everyone free and fair access to the internet. Without them, you will be charged for the sites you use on top of an already high internet bill. This means creators like us cannot post and be seen. Thia means that smaller schools will havebto switch to out of date text books. This means that starter IT projects that could make our lives better will die because noone can support an online presence that noone can afford to see.

And the list goes on and on and on. I have frienda who have to make their livings through commissions and working online because of multiple health issues. I have friends trying to publish books, post art, post voice acting snippets that will not be seen without these laws.

Please support Net Neutrality and contact your senators!!! This is so important to everyone you know, AND WE JUST NEED ONE SENATOR TO TURN THE TIDE!!!
