My booth at the Alpharetta Street Arts Festival! Day 2 of 3 day Memorial weekend :-)
Hand made album for a retirement party. Request was for an "old world map" that I bound in leather. I take custom orders at www.stagheart.etsy.com
Video of the dream catchers moving within the book covers.
Hand made button hole stich book. Filled with handmade paper. Stories from around the world about spiders ate printed with illustrations. The dream catchers spin independent within their cut outs.
Lord of the Rings map books of Middle Earth I made for a wedding and then just for fun! Available at www.stagheart.etsy.com
This is a clip from my morning walk. I like to go exploring as much as possible.
I'm set up in my booth on Marietta Square for the First Friday Art Walk!!!
This is a tiny map box that contains a map book! I learned how to make it in Bookbinding Class.
My exhibit for the Senior Exhibit at Kennesaw State University. I have book design on the wall, wine bottle design, a book and matching flash cards I made for a local LARP and tiny map books as my "take away" item.
This is my new book display at Crafted Westside in Atlanta! Go go gadget retail!
"Either write something worth reading, or do something worth writing. " An inspirational quote I have on my booth tables to remind people why we love books. :-)
This is my booth at Anachrocon 2016. I'm the book binder! I have map books, leather books, sketchbooks, albums. ..etc etc!
I taught double needle coptic stitch binding to the Letterpress and Bookmaking class at Kennesaw State University yesterday. Mine are the ones with book dust jackets on them. All of them cane out rather well and I'm proud of my students. It was a really complicated such for beginners :-)
This is a new style I'm trying out, double coptic stitch. I used the dust jacket of an old 1970s Hobbit as the cover. Available at www.stagheart.etsy.com
This map book is made from an antique map I found in an old atlas. It's very old school for those who go outside the lines :-) Available at www.stagheart.etsy.com
New cherry blossom books. They are great because they open flat and you can't break the spine
A sketchbook covered in handmade paper full of leaf inclusions for those who like a forested touch. Available at www.stagheart.etsy.com
