When we were kids, like six or seven years old, my brother would draw comics of the superhero he created called "Mr what's-his-name", who was a wealthy cat with a top hat and monocle and cane who would walk up to bank robbers while they were taking giant sacks of money out of the bank vault, beat the shit out of them, then tell the police and press "oh no I don't need any reward I am already wealthy" and leave.

Mr what's-his-name did not have a secret identity. He was the millionaire talking cat mayor. (Bipedal talking animals were normal in this world and, so far as I remember, full human citizens.) What's-his-name was his legal surname, which caused endless debate between my brother and I re: his wife's name, which my brother listed as "Mrs what's-her-name" and I insisted should be "Mrs what's-his-name" unless she kept her maiden name and it was coincidentally appropriate. (She did not.)

I don't remember if either of these wealthy cats ever had first names.

Zuko was wrong, actually. (I think.maybe.) Because juice, like, comes from the moisture in thing thing and then you remove the non-liquid bits, whereas in (most?) tea, you infuse the leaves with water instead of relying on the inherent water. True hot leaf juice would be if you extracted liquid from a couple leaves and heated it up, which would be expensive and probably bitter but a fun way to do it

I mean. in the broad scope of human history. byzantine like. went up until about 570 years ago. and in the scope of human existence that's like. very smol. we started farming roughly 10,000 to 12,000 years ago.

if we figure out what percent of human existence 570 years is out of that time we get like. 6%. is 6% a long time ago? is it a big number? no. is smol time. it only seems big time because nobody lives 570 years except particularly dedicated species of jellyfish and trees and potentially turtles.
