Happy Pride!
Every pride, you must reblog this. No exceptions
I love that four different people on my feed scheduled this joyous person to reblog by 8am on June 1. I look forward to seeing this a dozen more times today.
CAUSE EVERY TIME WE TOUCH I GET THIS FEELING
EVERY TIME WE KISS I SWEAR I COULD FLY
CAN’T U FEEL MY HEART BEAT FAST, I WANT THIS TO LAST
NEED YOU BY MY SIDE
This is the closest gif that can really capture the utter chaotic energy that is released when people hear this song
help help help
cinematic parallels
babe are you okay you reblogged got that fog in me 11 times
wait, i did? i don't remember doing that...
i have an ancient box camera from the late 40s. takes 120 film. Absolutely unfair good images out of this thing.
This is the 1940s equivalent of a disposable Kodak, it’s terrible but because modern film stock is so fucking good it just rips absolute ass. No I don’t have any pictures they’re scanning shut up.
the shutter speed is "yes" and the aperture is "sure, why not"
it turns out when you have a negative that's 60x70 mm that you don't really need the world's best glass
Beeg Pitchoor
this just isn't fair. this is like a toddler walking into a chess tournament and beating a high schooler
#JESUS THAT DYNAMIC RANGE!!!!
Fun fact: This is all on expired lomography metropolis. if it were in-date film it'd look even better. I dont have any in-date metropolis in 120 but i have a roll of it in 35mm that i'm gonna load up once i've finished my current roll of Kodak ColorPlus 200 (cheap color film that looks better than it should)
Here's Catlabs X Film 100 in 35 though, which is kinda similar in terms of range
these are simply stunning, thank you for sharing these
i dont think i ever posted this here but i adore the idea of splicing together bumper stickers
YOU can go to christianbumpersticker.org TODAY and order 10 for FREEEEE!!!!! and splice them together in any way you choose. they sent me like 20 plus some pamphlets and a dvd when i ordered them like 5 years ago and they're still going strong. top is my new car bottom is my old car. they're incredible.
right so. everyones seen that post by now of the kid being like omg how did students write 600 word essays before ai???
and i find myself, at 10:42pm on a friday night, with a 700 word essay to write for a physiology class. i know jack fucking shit about physiology (i was a history major, my brain is incredibly not wired for science) and i am going to prove the kid in this silly little post so incredibly incorrect.
lets do it
got my coffee and some music
here goes nothing folks
its 11:07, ive written a 143 word abstract and since there seems to be some confusion id like to take the time to note to everyone that, in case this was not clear, i have written quite a bit in my academic career. ive written three separate full thesis papers, two of which were capstone papers, and plenty of academic work in the upwards of 20 pages region. i have a ba degree in history. the real experiment here is I Am Not A Stem Person so if i can write a passable physiology paper, these ignorant children can write a 600 word essay.
11:37pm update
i have a feeling this is going to be longer than 700 words. i also aparently have to create a figure which is going to be the real bitch of this assignment.
12:16am. coffee is almost gone. probably about half done. re checked the word count and it says "at least" 700 words. i think i will certainly surpass that. now i just have to make a pesky figure. and also cite a textbook. aparently.
also for those curious, i am a gen z kid. people my own age are crashing out and using ai to write their 600 word papers and it sickens me. not me tho. you will get half assed bullshit from me, but it will be my work alone.
1:35am. onto the conclusion everyone. i ended up not having to make a figure because i found one (miraculously) that supported my point. incredibly worth the hour of googling that it took if you ask me. getting tired but im going to finish the damn thing tonight to prove this point alone.
and four hours later we have a final word count: 1363
unsure if it makes sense. but i did write it myself :) and i even learned things and had fun so. fuck ai. get off chat gpt or whatever the kids are using these days and write your own damn essays. no excuses. i procrastinated this to the bitter end and still got it done and i know NOTHING about stem i haven’t taken an honest to go science class in a good 8 years prior to this one. there is character development to be had from writing mediocre essays at fuck ass o’clock and it’s vital to being a human.
write a mediocre essay. challenge yourself.
goodnight.
There's so much irony in Martin saying that he and Jon still have time to talk "unless the world ends," only to then spend the entire eye-apocalypse chatting as they travel to The Institute.
In fact, Martin and Jon interact the most throughout Season 5 since they aren't busy with The Institute's nonsense. As it turns out, the apocalypse was THE BEST time for them to talk.

Beep boop! I look for accidental haiku posts. Sometimes I mess up.
I need you all to know that we did this for my dad's birthday cake this year and I have never seen that man happier in my entire life. He was thrilled. 10/10 decor and so easy to do
is this both a pun and also fucking loss
Alternating
(image description: a three panel drawing with very simple sketched lines and only a little quick coloration. it depicts a woman sitting at a desk, with a computer keyboard, musing aloud; "sometimes I wish my creative works would just make themselves...", after which she is startled by the arrival of a stick figure with a square head labeled "generative AI," which replies; "I can do that." the final panel is the only one with detailed color and lighting, showing the artist whipping out a pencil-shaped laser gun and exploding the AI entity. end description.)
had a conversation in a writing server, decided to make a meme about it.
Despite only having 13 notes, this post made it to another discord server I'm in lol. Sending it around again because it's still relevant
