Wow. This episode really ripped out my heart and hope and trampled all over it. No justice for Marwa, who was at the mercy of the whims of a cruel and selfish man from start to finish, her independence, her mind, her identity stripped from her. Not only that, we never actually got to know the real Marwa, and there was no one who cared enough about her to mourn her in the end. Truly tragic.
Nandermo is not endgame I guess, because how could Guillermo ever recover from what Nandor has done? I mean, Nandor has always treated Guillermo a bit horribly, but this is on another level. He took and defiled something Guillermo loved. Not only that, but the way it played out suggests that not only does he not even consider Guillermo as a potential romantic interest, but he also has no respect or consideration for his feeling whatsoever.
Were the writers going for funny? Or just shocking? All I manage to feel is disappointment and slight disgust.
In this episode we learned that Guillermo has the violent urge to stake and kill Nandor, Nadja, and Laszlo all the time 🙃
