My biggest takeaway from the movie is that Aang would be the fucking president of the Korra defense squad. She brought back the Air Nomads and then sacrificed everything to protect them. She redeemed him for his greatest regret. If she hadn't lost her connection to him I half expect that any time somebody made Korra feel bad about herself post book 3 Aang would possess her body and poke them in the eye.
