Webcomic Announcement

Hello! Just a little heads up that I might post my webcomic here! It's called Wildflowers and it's about this human girl living in a demon world. Her name is Daisy and she's about 14 years old. Daisy gets kidnapped by the government and is forced to marry the Prince of Kismet. The story focuses on Daisy's life in the castle, as well as her uncovering the dirty secrets of the government. It's a very interesting story, and I'd be glad if people read it! I'm planning to have the pages posted each Sunday and the first 6 will be posted together. From then on, the pages will be posted as singles. Each page is short, with only 4 to 6 panels. Yes, reading this comic all at once would be better than waiting for the next page. Occasionally, I'll post more pages but when that happens, I will announce it. That won't happen unless I'm on a trip or vacation, so don't expect it! Anyways, that's all I have to say. I hope you'll be looking forward to reading my webcomic, Wildflowers!!

Also!! The release date of the first 6 pages will be on October 2nd, 2019. It's the anniversary of the first time I tried to make the comic.

Sorry I haven't posted much! School started and I didn't feel like posting much anymore. So, I've just been posting on Instagram instead. Anyways, here are 2 new characters-- blue haired baby boy, Owen and coffee-addicted asshole Luka! Owen loves to bug Luka as much as he loves him in general.

Hi! Do you have any advice for beginning artists?

Hi! It's hard to give advice for beginning artists because I, myself, am still a beginner. Or at least, I consider myself to be one. I'll be assuming that beginning artists are artists that have literally just started to draw. Here is a list of advice that I've learned:

1. Be confident and carefree about your art yet still critical enough to improve.

2. Practice at least a little bit every so often.

3. Know when art block or being burnt out has arrived.

4. Be patient!

5. Your artwork is you. It's what you make it to be.

6. Try new things! It'll keep your motivation and entertainment with the hobby in check.

7. If you trace or copy someone's artwork, don't post it. I personally believe copying and tracing is beneficial for art since that's how I learned, but don't go around posting it. It will cause a lot of trouble for you and it's just not worth it.

8. Take a class or two or watch YouTube videos. I started taking Digital Arts at my school and I've learned quite a few new techniques that I use in my own artwork. Watching YouTube videos help as well, since you can learn different techniques and such. Half of my art skill is just from YouTube.

9. Use guidelines. They help so much. Guidelines are simple shapes and lines that allow the artist to view proportions and other artistic elements before they have spent all that time sketching. You don't have to use guidelines, but it helps so much if you just use light lines to map out what you want your art to look like.

10. You will have good art days and bad arts days. When those bad art days come, just take a deep breath and take a break. It's better to just drop it than it stress over it.

These are all that I can think of at the moment. Hope this helps!!

This one is a bit... dark. Both in the artwork and the story. But in short, Claude (Claudia) at the time was dating a man from a foreign town and turns out he was a vampire. They learned this because poor Claude/Claudia was attacked and bit by this man. So yeah... that's how Claude became a vampire!

i gave marcus a haircut and dyed his hair and he's a yoga instructor now. his classes are very popular.

Finally something done with the iPad! It may be lower quality than my other drawings but oh well! Anyways, Claude and Marcus tend to hang out at night since Claude would have to go through a lot of trouble in order to stay in the sun. So, they just hang out at night. Well, one night, they stayed up all night and Claude wasn't used to actually being active at night. He was used to lying down in bed or watching TV. So, he was kinda exhausted on the way home that night. He thought he could make it home, but nope! He ended up falling into Marcus' arms and taking a little rest there. He didn't actually fall asleep because he has horrible insomnia, but he just didn't move which was basically rest. Marcus had a crush on Claude at this point so he was ecstatic and quite nervous that Claude fell into his arms. However, Marcus was able to maintain his composure (for the most part) and carried Claude to his house. Marcus napped on the couch while Claude rested in Marcus' bed. When, Claude finished resting, he saw Marcus in the doorway with breakfast. It kind of reminded Claude of how they met...

So this is Michael! He was Claude's second boyfriend but uh... things didn't end happily. Anyways, Michael was fresh out of high school and off to college when he met Claude. He had a football scholarship so yeah... he's a football player. But they met simply by running into each other on the college campus. Like, actually running into each other. Michael was jogging early one morning and he wasn't paying attention. So, he smacked into Claude, who also wasn't paying attention. Michael felt as though it was his fault and kept apologizing to the grumpy guy, who wanted just to walk away from this child. However, Claude couldn't refuse when Michael offered to buy him breakfast. So, the two went to a cafe and started chatting. Well, mostly Michael spilling his life story. Claude got attached then, and he asked a rather personal question to Michael-- he asked about his sexuality. Now, this was back in 1968 so uh... yeah. But Claude had a feeling that Michael was in the closet. Plus, he wanted to know if he was wasting his time or not. Surprisingly, Michael told Claude that he was bisexual, although it was rather sheepishly. Excitedly, Claude asked Michael on a date and Michael accepted. They decided they would meet up at this cafe and go for a ride to watch the sunset. However, when the time arrived, they both arrived too early. Michael was curious as to why Claude had a parasol and was wearing gloves, but he didn't ask. Anyways, the two watched the sunset and Claude snapped a picture of Michael since he owned a camera. It wasn't colored, but Claude still has it framed. It was one of his best pictures and some days, he misses Michael. Luckily, Marcus is there to help him cope with it. I'll explain what happened to Michael later. But yeah! That's the story behind this drawing!

So remember how Marcus was a bit gay for Claude? Well, Claude is a bit gay for Marcus too, but he refuses to admit it since his last relationship didn't end very well and he's a bit traumatized it. Anyways, Marcus' family had caught a terrible werewolf flu that also came with insomnia and vomiting. Well, for Marcus. He had the worst of it, so his little sister and parents weren't too bad. However, Marcus' little sister stole all the extra blankets, so Marcus didn't have any. It doesn't help that he sleeps with minimal clothing as well. Well, Claude came over to visit one day and tend to his sick friend. When he noticed that Marcus was shivering, he just decided to cuddle up with him to warm him up. He kind of regretted it because he realized that he was actually enjoying contact with another being. However, he was actually getting a bit sleepy for the first time in awhile, so he didn't really noticed that kissed Marcus' forehead before he passed out himself.

It was very hilarious when the two woke up the next morning and realized they were cuddling.

Marcus practically shrieked and almost woke everybody up, but he only woke Claude up. Claude just sat there, frozen, while Marcus tried asking him what the hell happened last night. However, it took them about an hour to move away from each other.

And that's the story behind this drawing! Most of this wasn't even planned out beforehand-- I just wrote and gay things happened. Also, Marcus has a few canine forms. He has his regular human form, his half form (which is the one shown), his wolf form, and then his werewolf form. Each one has its own unique advantages and disadvantages. I just have to design them.

Just a little colored sketch I did of Claude!! I'll start posting his story soon so it won't just be drawings of him. I'm just debating whether or not I should actually write a story or just quickly explain the story. Maybe I'll do both!!

I keep forgetting to post the drawings I make... honestly I'm so wrapped up in the story that I'm a bit afraid to post it. No reason why. I just am. Anyways, this is Marcus! He's a werewolf and he's just a tiny bit gay for my vampire oc, Claude. But unfortunately, he can't say his true feelings because Claude is completely messed up from previous relationships and Marcus doesn't even think he has a crush on Claude. I'll say more about this later!!
