You ever focus on hearing the words someone is saying to you and you’re happy that you’re keeping up and they finish what they’re saying and then you realize you focused on hearing the words but forgot to actually process them and now you still have no idea what was just said to you

ADHD is getting a good idea for something suddenly, being able to workshop it a bit in your head for a few seconds, but then immediately forgetting what you were thinking about as you’re thinking about it, because somewhere between getting out a pen and paper or opening notes/docs to write it down before you forget…

Turns out you already had.
