Hey, so I'm making a game, and I guess this is kind of a playtest kit?

Hey, so I’m making a GM-ful storygame about hopes and dreams and the people who harvest falling stars. It’s called Starry-Eyed Dreamers. It’s Powered by the Apocalypse, and here’s a version I put together that’s maybe a functional playtest kit. If you happen to test this, please let me know what you think, whether or not it worked well, what you liked, what you didn’t like, etc. Thank you so much.

3 - 5-6 session adventure starting May 19 and continuing for the following Tuesdays weekly for 5-6 sessions, start time at 4 PM Pacific / 7 PM Eastern, sessions will average 4 hours

Defy the Gods

another snippet of prep from my Defy the Gods adventure! I'll be truncating some of the collaborating worldbuilding of the City and World Forces so that the players can still make some decisions, but it is more tightly focused from the beginning so we can get to the drama faster.

Right now the main two deities are Ereshkigal and Inanna, but I will let the players expand on that in play too.

I really need to re-read the Epic of Gilgamesh on my flight this Sunday.

Thankfully the prep is super similar to Thirsty Sword Lesbians. I'm more excited than nervous to run it though I'm sure I will get nervous again!

Creating the Toxic Power for a Nine Realms / Norse mythology adventure for Thirsty Sword Lesbians!

It’s pretty natural to use toxic gods for GM Moves like “an uncomfortable demand from authority”, “show them the consequences of failing to conform”, “Fate contrives to thrust their Destiny upon them”, “offer what they want at a high cost”, and “offer conditional love” 😁
