Autistic ppl (me) making lists: idk what it is about lists but I swear there's crack in it

Okay, I'm trying to explain what is like to have an AuDHD brain, particularly the ADHD part, and what the inside of my mind feels like to someone, but I'm coming up empty. The closest I've gotten are things like:

A murmuration of starlings

The monkey pavilion at the zoo, complete with poo throwing

The Infinite Monkey Theorem

The Infinite Monkey Theorem while throwing poo

If some of my fellow neurodivergents would like to share some of your analogies, etc, I'd be ever so grateful. What does the inside of your brain feel like?

Telling a neurodivergent they “should watch/play/read this thing” when its not their current hyperfixation is a mistake.
