Beat x Reader Kissing HCs
Really, I'm not experienced enough to write these headcannons, but here it goes!
Regular old kisses with Beat are very sweet and you can tell they have a lot of meaning behind them - the desire to keep you safe proved only by whatever arm he decides to wrap around you. He really likes holding you during anything intimate as both a protective thing and a reassuring thing, for you and for him; a cute way of saying that he doesn't plan on letting you go any time soon.
In public, Beat's a little more reserved and shy with displays of affection - unless he's trying to prove a point, then it's the same level as anything else. So expect more chaste and innocent kisses on the cheek, especially around Rhyme.
Speaking of Rhyme, she isn't outwardly teasing all the time, just when she's in the mood. Most of the time, she'll just shoot you some raised eyebrows and a knowing smirk before turning away (not particularly wanting to watch you kiss her brother.) But, if Beat knows she's there, she'll have the biggest smirk on her face and immediately makes a scene, fake gagging and yelling about you both to anyone that's listening just to tease her brother and watch the two of you go completely red.
She also just aims to keep you together anyway, so she'll purposely set the both of you up. Rhyme'll go up to you and be like "Beat's moping, go give him a kiss" and vice versa even though no one's actually upset. Rhyme is the best wingman.
As for anything that goes a little...further, Beat needs some time to warm up to it because I can guarantee he'll chicken out halfway through the first few times because he's either too warm or too embarrassed. If you want him to lead, he doesn't quite know how and will just have his hands hanging in the air until you place them yourself the first few times.
He's really just afraid of making you uncomfortable because he knows he's inexperienced and wants to give you the best of anything he can offer because, in his opinion, you deserve the best..!...he just struggles sometimes so please teach him...
