Barbies Fit Babes
So here’s the thing.. I’ve been gone for a while now and I’m finally after all this time ready to talk about it.. I started working August of 2017 and IMMEDIATELY gave up on my vegan lifestyle (I had been vegan for almost a year) and not surprisingly I gained back all the weight I lost and then some. Ready for it!!!🗣 I GAINED 50 LBS!!! Yes 50.. but ya know what .. it doesn’t define me, yes I’m upset but I’ve lost the weight before and I can do it again.. WE can do it again!!
I feel like I have left tumblr. Which is sad, because, I am still working out.
But maybe it's because I am not seeing results as quickly as I thought/think I should.
But lately, I have been feeling good, and I decided to do some measurements, and take a few photos. I am happy to see some inches off my belly. Everywhere else is pretty much the same. But I always lose/gain in my belly first. I wouldn't mind the boobs shrinking a bit, but I think when I wean off Cassidy, they will go down a bit. I think its interesting that I am 6 pounds heavier... yet down inches....
I have been feeling stronger. My back acts up a bit still, but not nearly as bad. My eating has improved, but if there is even a whiff of bakery items or treats... no self control.
Things I KNOW I need to get better at... water! water! water! and always more veggies.

April was a bit of a rough month. Fell of track quite a few times with food, especially at events. It’s amazing how much you learn about yourself during these moments of weakness. The idea this month is to work with what I’ve learned and push through those times instead of giving in to them.
My May goal is very different for me. I need to learn to love myself and my body the way I love others. This month I am going to work on fighting the negative thought patterns and focusing on the positive when it comes to my own body. First step, buying a full length mirror. Huge step for me. (...and it won’t be dirty like the public restroom one in the picture lol)

5/10/17 - WOD
Pre-WOD was a one mile max effort run. I shaved 30 seconds off this time and finished in 10:29. Since we had just done a one mile run 3 weeks ago, I wasn't expecting that much of a difference! The second half of class was a 8 Round for time upper body workout. Supposed to be hand stand push ups and pull ups. Since I can't do either, I did 8 sets of 4 ring rows and 5 dumbbell Press with 10lb weights. I finished in 7:27.
