There’s not a lot of room for such indulgence if you’re on some silly 1200 cals per day, low carb, no fun dietary regime but FORTUNATELY you shouldn’t be on one of those anyway. Even if you’re very much a beginner (or, I prefer to say “a new enthusiast”) at training, you require a higher, more appropriate level of energy intake in order to BENEFIT from being more active. Most people are more like trying to force the body to cope, rather than allowing the body to benefit, which is unfortunate. You need to work to an appropriate total intake, consistently.
