Gendercanon? At least there's a term for that kinda of headcanon now. Interesting to see a tiny minority of the doom fandom who do this (I mean the people who headcanon doomguy as trans).

I use “gendercanon” as a general term for any headcanon for a character’s gender that deviates or expands on their canon gender, be it pronoun wise, gender wise, etc. 

After all, they only said Doomguy was male, they never said whether he was a cis or trans man. Also, I headcanon Doomguy to be trans like you wouldn’t believe. The most common headcanon I see for him is binary trans man, but him being a nonbinary man opens up a lot of headcanon possibilities too. I’ve also seen a version of Doomslayer who uses they/them pronouns, which rocks my socks. B)

Someone (I think it was @jeezezbree) posted a headcanon of Miu from Ginga Densetsu Weed/Ginga Densetsu Weed Orion being a trans girl, and, naturally, I lost my marbles.

Miu’s name means “Beautiful Feather”, so I think her nickname around the country would be “The Feather of Mutsu.”

Most of Kisaragi’s kids are probably trans. You don’t end up with 19 sons (not including Miu, obviously) without some Transed Genders.

Miu’s floppy ears come from her mother, a malamute.

Hey I really love your Ignitus x Terrador fanart and I was wondering if I could write a fanfic based on it.

ABSO-FRIGGIN-LUTELY!!!THANK YOU! :DIf you need ideas, the picture was originally based off the idea that when Spyro didn’t return with Ignitus (because he was off fighting Cynder), Terrador went to Concurrent Skies himself to go rescue Ignitus and Spyro if need be. When he gets there, Ignitus, who hasn’t seen Terrador in 8-12 years, thinks he’s hallucinating until Terrador gets closer. I’m not sure what happens that makes Ignitus recognize him (I don’t think he’d be emotionally stable enough for a nose bump yet, and Terrador would recognize this), but he does, and then they both get choked up and start crying. AAAAAAAAA my heart can’t take this. 

Bonus points if you’re like me and headcanon one or both of them as trans and also being Spyro’s secret biological parents. :,3 I cri
