So... my sister and i are both severely physically disabled and unable to get to any doctors on our own. My grandpa is in ambulatory rehab because he just had back surgery. My grandma has multiple complex and rare disabilities and just had surgery for her severe arthritis in her hands. She got the surgery on one hand and just got diagnosed with crps cause by the surgery. My mom's schedule looks absolutely horrifying.

The occupational therapists my sister and i go to are located in a rehab center. My grandpa had back surgery and is going to the rehab center for recovery. So last week, my sister, my mom and i arrived in the waiting area to see my grandpa and a couple of other people waiting there. "Oh my god! hello! Why we haven't seen each other in forever!" (We live in the same house)We had half a family gathering in the waiting area, it was incredibly entertaining. The confused stares from everyone around made it even funnier

So.... i just got a thumb brace in occupational therapy. My sister just got a thumb brace in occupational therapy. My grandma just had surgery on her thumb joints. My mom just started having issues with her thumb that seem like they might be the start of arthritis. Yesterday we were all sitting around a table (by coincidence) and all of were going "ow" and "argh" and "ugh why are you like this" (at the offending thumb joints) and like. I think i might have suspicion from which side of the family i got my terrible joint health. Starting to think it might be a genetic trait (/sarcasm, i'm aware it's genetic)

#My had specialist doctor (who knows both my sister and i and mom by extension) was so excited when she met my grandma too lol #We're nearly doing like #famioy trips to specialist doctors and therapies atp #My genetic testing results basically said “get this and that checked out and send your family to testing and come back in two years” like #Technically medically it's not considered a genetic issue but uh. Retrognathism: a receding chin where your lower jaw sits much further back than your upper jaw. It might cause issues such has chewing, biting, swallowing, jaw pain, mouth breathing, snoring and speech disorders. Retrognathism can be congenital. Genetic or a symptom of another condition such has : Hemifacial microsomia, Nager syndrome, Pierre-Robin syndrome or Treacher Collins syndrome. More rarely people can have acquired retrognathism. This might happen because of facial trauma, surgery, broken facial bones or childhood habits like thumb sucking.

Furry Ears

Hi. I must admit. I have this weird fetish for furry ears so when I saw your profile you can imagine I almost exploded. Can you tell me more about them? How did you get them? Are they genetic or did you get plastic surgery? I am hoping one day to have little furry eared children of my own so it would be awesome if they were natural, but I would still be attracted to them if they were artificially attached. How well can you hear with them? Does everything sound fuzzy (har har)? I think it would be neat to know other things about you, but I can't lie, I am most interested in the ears.
