randomly appears behind tony, touches his spine or neck, and murmurs the bone names softly in tony’s ear

tony’s driven insane by it, so much so that whenever he hears the whoosh of a portal opening, he blushes and shivers

(going to the sanctum with stephen was torture for the man and pure delight for the sorcerers)

stevextony (stony, my second favourite)

carrying.

all the carrying around.

steve picks up tony at random times.

doesn’t matter where he is, doesn’t matter who he’s with.

just “let’s go, tones”.

tony complains if they’re around people…but strangely enough melts into steve once they’re alone

steve asks for consent a lot, always wanting to make sure that tony’s okay with it.

because when bucky gets tired of tony mouthing off?

oh, lord, he gets fierce

one time, tony was making snarky comments to bucky in front of the other avengers

bucky waited until tony had gone to the bathroom to get up

as soon as tony tried to leave the bathroom, bucky pounced on him

he got tony back into the bathroom, closing&locking the door and then proceeding to pin tony up against it

when they got out, half an hour later, tony was a lot more subdued…

science boyfriends (tonyxbruce):

(actually didn’t know this existed until i googled it, so here goes?)

bruce got the hulk back under control, yes…

but he tends to show up a bit more whenever he and tony are alone.

picking him up with one hand, pressing up against him, pushing him down into the bedsheets…yeah, tony’s really submissive with him

because if he’s not?

bruce always puts him back in his place

if he’s more hulkish, he’ll do it right then and there

if he’s more bruceish, though…that’s when tony is really scared

last time, bruce brewed a special batch of tea that made tony INCREDIBLY sensitive…for weeks.

bruce has had no problems with tony since.

thunderiron (thorxtony):

thor’s always using his hammer to keep tony down

trying to get up from bed too early? hammer on the chest.

trying to run from him to avoid kisses? hammer’s gonna spin out of his hand and shove tony back towards him.

if he’s in his iron man suit, wrestling with thor? thor’s gonna get this boy’s wrists above his head and place the hammer on them. boom. incapacitated.

thor also doesn’t quite understand humans yet, so when he finds out just how red tony turns when flustered…

touches on his neck in the middle of meetings makes tony stutter

touches on his back on the couch makes tony blush furiously

if they’re alone, tony will whine softly…if they’re around other people, tony has to cover his mouth to muffle himself.

starkquill (tonyxpeter!) (peter quill, not peter parker):

SARCASM.

all the sarcasm!

and dirty jokes are quill’s main attack

tony’s under the impression that both of them are equal in this relationship, but quill likes to remind him who belongs to who every now and again

rocket starts teasing tony a lot (“got any new marks?” “sore, pretty boy?” “i can get a wheelchair if you need one after last night!”) and tony just glares at him

of course, quill always comes up behind him while rocket’s teasing and discreetly brushes tony’s shirt collar to the side to reveal so many bruises and love bites that tony’s skin is practically one giant mark

Quill: You could be right.

Rocket(also grinning): You’re darn right she’s right. You love Stark and he can’t stand you!

Quill: How do I get him back?

Drax (also grinning): You don’t. You suffer and we watch!

There aren't enough words in the English language that I can use to express how much I love and appreciate fic writers. You guys are AMAZING, providing ton and ton of content for fandoms to enjoy at the cost of your own time and passion, sharing your talent with all of us and I'm eternally grateful for that.

But guys. Listen. Listen.

I don't know if its just me, but I can't hold back an eye-roll whenever I see Tony being described as "Scrawny, " "Bony" " Slander, " or any words that indicate he's small, helpless, and is in constant need of saving and protection, most likely from the person who's supposed to be his love interest.

Like Tony's completely dependent on his armor or others or he's defenseless. Well, I'm here to say, I don't really agree.

Let me explain why Tony Stark's a complete badass:

First point: Technical skill!

Weapons were deeply rooted into Tony's childhood, most likely, and ever more ingrained in his early and adult life. No one can tell he the guy doesn't take the spot as one of the biggest titans in warfare world and doesn't know his products. He build and sold the most dangerous weapons in the world, WHY would he be clueless about how they work or need someone to show him?

He literally build firearms for a living. If the thing's got a trigger, chances are Tony figured it out 3 times over.

Second point: Combat training!

Now, Tony may not be as highly trained as some other characters, but no one can deny his skill is THERE. From boxing basics, to kicking the ass of a security team like he did in IM3, Tony Stark is a certified BADASS and he doesn't need a super-suit to be. It's almost like, after being kidnapped in so many dangerous and life-threatening situations, he'd know that being caught unprepared because he relayed on a piece of technology isn't an option :))

And my 3rd and final point, LOOK AT HIM

Those muscles aren't there for aesthetically pleasing purposes only! Those guns are not only for show (Tho trust me, I GET IT. I wanna marry those arms too). Those kind of muscles come for years and years of hard work, heavy lifting, handling extremely heavy materials. It's very solid build up.

Not to mention the fact that he maneuvers the Iron Man armor, a physically demanding task on his own, but he also CARRIED IT through a SNOWSTORM! But hey, its only TITANIUM ALLOY, so no biggie :)) My point IS! Tony Stark is STRONG, and he shouldn't be nerfed in the favor of being a stereotypical small, dainty, fragile bottom.

Plus, imagine the hilarity and hotness Tony's strength would induce LIKE
