But surprisingly enough, despite his history of group sex, Gitae Kim was… kinda vanilla. He liked to watch you suck him off and bounce on his dick, but that was it. Jonggun Park is a Ravenclaw.

Put down the pitch forks and let me explain why I believe he is more suited for the eagle than the snake.

When the Sorting Hat sings about this house, this is what it has to say:

"In wise old Ravenclaw, If you’ve a ready mind, Where those of wit and learning, Will always find their kind."

With such traits associated with Ravenclaw, it is easy to boil it down as merely the "smart" house, the place for academics. However, Ravenclaw also values creativity and curiosity.

Its people have an insatiable thirst for knowledge. Unlike Gryffindors, who use their high marks to earn praises, and Slytherins, who study and analyze to gain an advantage—Ravenclaws love learning itself.

Being a Ravenclaw doesn't guarantee being an academic or someone who gets perfect grades. Lots of Ravenclaws fail subjects that they're not interested in but absolutely blow everyone else when it comes to the things they truly cherish. They are painters who paint, not for admiration, but because they love painting. They are writers who write, not for attention, but because they love writing.

It is not enough to be simply smart, you need to want to learn.

In other words, Ravenclaws are otakus.

And Gun is a martial arts otaku.

As a child, we know that Gun was considered so good at fighting that he advanced faster than most children his age. As a teenager, he traveled all over Japan to learn more techniques. As an adult, he regularly trains himself and he gets freaky whenever his "students" are involved. Yes, his jaw-dropping skills can be attributed to his genes and raw talent, but Gun really does enjoy martial arts simply for what it is. He sincerely appreciates fighting as an art form. I think that's why he is so obsessed with finding a successor and nurturing those with potential. He does not resent those who could possibly overthrow him, he encourages them. When you love something, you want to share it with the world, you want it to grow and evolve.

"Oh, but Gun is evil and ambitious, etc. How can he not be in Slytherin?"

Sorting characters into houses can either be super tricky or super easy. Gun ending up in Ravenclaw feels like a no-brainer.

Aside from favoring Pure-bloods, Slytherin is composed of individuals who are ambitious and cunning. Here's the thing about Gun, he's not particularly ambitious or even cunning.

Even when he was younger, Gun had no interest in becoming the Yamazaki's oyabun. He only wanted a normal family.

Even the reason why he agreed to be Charles Choi's right-hand man wasn't born out of anything grand. For those who don't remember or do not know: Gun and Charles met while the former was in juvie. Charles begged Gun to join him and they will claim the world together. Gun saw Shingen in Charles; both were once powerful, influential men who fell from grace. Shingen died because he chose to protect his son, and Gun, who was ill-equipped to deal with his emotions, wanted to see how far a fallen man can rise again—in the form of Charles Choi.

That said, even though Gun's reason for joining Choi is heartbreaking and somewhat understandable, his continuous loyalty is pure lunacy. His body was falling apart and he still refused to budge on his logic.

By the way, that's another thing about Ravenclaw—it is full of stubborn eccentrics. They're like flat earthers, but less annoying. Many of them tend to live in their own world or have their heads in the clouds.

When a Ravenclaw believes something is true, nothing can convince them otherwise.

Gun is quiet and reserved, and he was (*crying*) often seen with Goo, a loud and proud weirdo, so people tend to overlook how he himself can be prone to idiosyncrasies. To be frank, I would argue that Gun is the oddball between the two. Goo Kim is carefree but Gun's line of thinking is genuinely baffling.

Aside from refusing Goo's help even when it was offered to him a second time, Gun also cannot comprehend why he is hated so much by his protégés, with all but one of them having been forced or coerced to learn under him, by the way.

But I digress.

My point is that Gun does not have two of the most important characteristics of a Slytherin. He isn't a bum, but he doesn't have any grand aspirations like Diego Kang or Gitae Kim. He isn't stupid, but he can be short-sighted and resorts to brute force far too quickly.

However, he is devoted to learning and teaching martial arts, he is inflexible in his ridiculous reasoning, and he suffered through the destruction of his own body in an attempt to satisfy his curiosity.

And that is why I believe that Jonggun Park is a Ravenclaw.

This isn't really a x reader fic which it was supposed to be originally be. I changed the idea midway writing this. So i am sorry for those looking for an x reader fic. If y'all want, i can make an x reader version too later.

¢ Gun park! Special mention: goo

Some may thinks it will be hard to get gun to agree to go beach with you to some fun and relax, but that's not true. This man would agree upon one ask, after all he is a masochist, not a workaholic.

He carries more items then necessary, but it doesn't matter when he is the one carrying them all and looking after them so they don't get lost.

Let's out a scowl the moment he notices goo there with his secret friends group. Taejin and logan doesn't really care seeing him but he could feel samuel glaring him sometimes randomly but when he turns to look, he doesn't catch it.

Whenever some kids sand castles accidentally gets washed up by ocean water, he glares at the sad kid's face through his shades and starts rambling about how 'the world only cares about results' and starts to go walk away.

Later tries to build a sand castle only cause goo was making one and the competitive energy starts to rise. Both of them try their best to make better then the other but is left jealous and pissed when the kid he just gave a 'life lesson' to, makes a better sand castle then both of them.

He has never tried shaved ice in his life. At first he didn't wanna eat it cause who eats that typa attitude but actually gets one for the hype. Later he was seen with eating two at once at the same time.

★ Goo kim! Special mention: samuel

Bro finally had enough of trying to convince gun to come to the beach with him. He flipped out seeing him agreeing to your request on the first try.

He finally raided beach the beach with his homies, or what he calls his 'secret friends' group. Which is not much of an secret in itself.

Only samuel agreed to come with him at first. The others were to busy as they 'say'. But in reality, they knew they were gonna lost their aura infront of shirtless goo. But at the end they all had to join him cause well, i said so.

All the girls, boys, birds, any animals, sand, ocean, sun, sky, clouds were staring every respectfully at goo. Trust. I was the umbrella there.

Goo immediately jumped into the ocean while samuel just stayed on those chairs, enjoying his drink under the shade and reading some sort of book.

Goo thought he was tryna look cool or something but Samuel was just trying to finish the books as soon as he could. Why you ask? He already got hald spoilers from internet, he ain't waiting around until it's fully spoiled for him.

At the end this man ended up kidnapping daniel cause it was getting boring.

§ James lee! Special mention: Gitae kim

Just when james was planning for next step after sending charles choi to where he can finally meet up his old friends from 0 generation (spoiler). Suddenly a background music came to catch his ears (the bazooka)

Both his ears, heart and brain were touched by that song so that's when he decided, that there is life except planning. So he styled his hair and set out to beach.

Gitae kim kept questioning him about what was happening, but who cared to answer to an 7'0 axe carrying cartel leader from Mexico? None. Fear was in the mind, not in the limbs gitae chopped up. After all, he was familiar with limbs too himself.

After he finally reached the beach, he found out somehow that gun was suddenly out of jail and enjoying the beach vacation. How did that happen one may ask? He couldn't care less, as long as he doesn't get in th way of his future plans.

James was just enjoying the view when gitae called to ask again, what the hell was he doing? Going to vacations after calling him from all the way from Mexico to here to do this?

James sweated zero bullets and told him to chill, before they arrange an happy reunion party for the 0th generation fist gang members.

At the end he ended writing one song about the summer this time, not for his k pop idol carrier, but once for himself.

I hate it when some people write gun romantically, or write him as if he's into cute pure girls.

I can't imagine gun intrested in a woman except her being strong and independent, since he's a fighting masochistic I guess his type would be a woman that can fight for herself and gain her own money, strong mentally and wouldn't chase him nor show him that he's the only, a woman that will make it clear that if he wants to leave she'll let him and find another man for herself.
