PETER
Peter would be destroyed: it took him so long to realise that he loves you and seeing you not even recognizing him breaks his heart. "Y/n... It's me, Peter, your Star Lord." He tries to joke, a bitter smile in his face, but you look confused. "I'm sorry, I don't know who you are." You whisper, seeing his eyes filling with sadness. He shakes his head and reaches his hand to caress your face, refusing to accept this new reality. "No no, we'll find a way, you will have your memories back." He reassures you and you let him hug you, his touch incredibly familiar.
ROCKET
Rocket would feel like his world is falling apart: no one ever appreciated him as much as you do, no one even understood him in the way you can, and seeing you standing in front of him, not knowing who he is... It is simply too much for Rocket. "I refuse to accept this, Y/n. Look at me, you know me." He almost begs you but you look at him in confusion. "I guess I did, but I can't remember." You say, almost sorry to break his heart. He holds the tears back while running away from you, from the truth.
DRAX
Drax initially thought that this whole thing was a joke. "Oh come on, Y/n, you surely know me!" He says while opening his arms to hug you, but the look on your face makes his body immediately tense up. "You... You don't know me..." He whispers, his smile disappearing and his eyes filling with tears. You bite your lower lip. "I'm sorry." You whisper, understanding that he is in pain. He looks away and starts crying, wondering how is this even possible to accept.
GROOT
Groot would be shocked. He is about to hug you, as always, when you step back. "I'm sorry, do I know you?" You ask. He stumbles back as if you had just punched him, his hands still at mid air while he gasps. "I am Groot." He naively says and you frown. "I don't know how is that possible that I understood you, but no, I do not remember you." You say, feeling weird while you look at him. He shakes his head and his eyes gets watery in the moment he realizes that you forgot him.
GAMORA
Gamora loves you so much. She found her soul sister in you and hearing that you forgot everything, hurts her. "Hei, y/n, it's me. Do you remember me?" She asks while kneeling in front of you. You look at her, your heart pounding faster when she tenderly touches your leg, but your mind is blank. "I'm sorry. I don't..." You whisper and look away. Gamora tried to hold herself back untill this moment. "No..." She whispers and she starts crying, her hand squeezing your leg.
MANTIS
Mantis can perceive that something is different, but she wants to ask you anyway. "Y/n?" She calls you and you look at her, a stranger to your eyes. "I can feel you're confused. Do you remember me?" She asks and you raise an eyebrow, your hands shaking and you can't realize why. "No, I don't think I know you." You finally says and she looks down, her eyes watery and her fingers nervously entwining. "I see..." She whispers, a tear running down her cheek while she walks away, heartbroken and sad.
BONUS + YONDU
Yondu cares about you more than anything else, so when you look at him like he is a stranger, he is destroyed. "Kid, it's Yondu, you know me..." He almost begs you, his eyes scanning you and a tiny smile on his face. You frown and massage your forehead, more confused than ever. "I'm sorry but I've never seen you before." You sincerely say and feel sorry when his smile disappearing. He shakes his head and leaves the room, crying while he walks away.

Tony will definitely be aware of when you're feeling down, mostly because you shut down and he knows what shutting down is like

When you don't respond, he will sit beside you
He won't say anything or hug you, just let you know that he's there if you do need him

Ships soared overhead, painting the night sky with bursts of colour and explosions of light. One would imagine it was fireworks, something pleasing to the eyes purposefully, but it was nothing like that. The ships were burning, exploding, collapsing on themselves in brilliant shows. It wasn't beautiful for the poor people on the ground getting rained upon by debris and ashes.
The Guardians of the Galaxy were spread out across the alien city. Rocket was in the air, using their ship to fight off any hostiles he could manage. Gamora took care of the ones on the ground with Drax and Quill. Meanwhile, Mantis, Groot, and (Y/N) were in charge of civilian evacuation.
Oceans of people were being evacuated left and right. It was almost too much for two women and a tree to handle, but their combined efforts put a dent in the needs of the people.
Mantis was clearing out a courtyard in the near center of the city when dark shadows loomed over the cobblestone walkways. She shouted out a warning to the crowds of people nearby, watching them scatter as warriors descended from above.
They spread out and she did her best to contact Rocket, warning him that they'd slipped past his defenses.
The empath spotted a small child cowering behind a bench nearby and raced to his side. She lifted him from the ground and was instantly washed in his pain, his terror, his need for comfort. Shoving it all aside was something she was used to, especially when she needed to focus on the lasers flying towards her.
Suddenly, the ground shook below her feet and the child in her arms yelped. A crack in the ground roared, echoing across the courtyard as it split its way toward them.
Mantis had barely seen it at first, managing to throw the child across the gap to his mother in the distance before the floor below her crumpled. She cried out, reaching for the edge of the earth that just slipped past her fingers.
Before she could plunge into who knows where, a hand grabbed her wrist, holding her up.
(Y/N) groaned with the effort as she held up her companion, reaching out to grab her other wrist. Mantis gasped at the sudden stop and looked up, meeting (Y/N)'s dilated pupils.
Mantis didn't have a moment to help (Y/N) by pushing off the cliff or anything similar. She was suddenly overwhelmed by wave after wave of a single emotion wrapped in layers of panic and fear and concern. She didn't identify it at first, as it was something she rarely got to feel from people who let her read them.
The feeling shook her to her core when she realised it was directed at her. It was like a warm meal on a cold day, a tight embrace from someone you love. Love. That's what it was.
What Mantis felt radiating off of (Y/N) was pure, intense love.
And it was all for her.
"Mantis, push up!" (Y/N) shouted at her desperately.
Only her voice woke Mantis from her trance, snapping her back into action to save herself. She found the strength to push over the cliff side, (Y/N) helping to pull her up. She landed on the ground with heavy breaths and shaking hands.
"You okay?"
She nodded hesitantly. "Better now. Thank you."
"Anytime," (Y/N) said as she smiled softly.
Mantis barely registered the words, a little too lost in her friend's eyes to comprehend any language. She'd never felt such strong emotion, much less emotions directed at her. Nobody had ever felt that way about her-- not that she knew, anyway.
Later, on the ship, as the Guardians set a course for their next adventure, Mantis sat beside (Y/N). She was busy patching up her minor wounds in the back of the ship, away from everyone else.
"(Y/N)?" Mantis asked as she sat.
"Oh, hey, Mantis," she replied too quickly. "How are you doing? That was a close call earlier."
She nodded. "(Y/N), um, when you grabbed my hand to save me-- I felt something. It was very...strong. Do you think--?"
She motioned loosely to (Y/N)'s wrist, indicating that she'd love to experience it again.
(Y/N) was clearly hesitant about the whole ordeal, but nodded anyway, holding up her arm. Mantis took it gingerly, the ends of her antennae glowing so bright that (Y/N) had to glance away. She bit her lip as Mantis took in all her emotions, digging through them to find the constant, warm one she'd experienced earlier.
"Love," she whispered when she found it.
(Y/N) smiled, eyes glued to the ground and refusing to meet her companion's eyes when she released her arm, the connection broken.
"For me?" Mantis asked, eyes wide.
"Who else would it be?" (Y/N) mumbled, feeling something akin to shame, more likely embarrassment.
Mantis grinned wider than she thought she ever had, taking (Y/N)'s hand again. This time, it wasn't to bring the connection back or to feel the love she had. Rather, it was for (Y/N) to understand the love Mantis reciprocated. She almost wished she could be an empath, too, just so she could understand it. Then again, there were other ways to express love.
(Y/N) nearly jumped from her chair when Mantis pressed a gentle kiss to her cheek, intertwining their hands comfortably.
"I have love for you, too," Mantis declared.
(Y/N) went to sputter something, but it was useless. She was rendered speechless by the action and took to leaning her head against Mantis' shoulder instead.
Mantis found another action that resembled love, too-- the warmth of another's hand wrapped in yours.
Playing charades with Mantis. Or anything cute with Mantis.

Everyone apart from you and Mantis were left to gaurd the ship, and it was soooo boring. Mantis was rather secluded around you, but you weren't sure why. You turned to her and she seemed to perk up.
"I'm bored. Do you maybe wanna play a game?" You asked.
"Oh, ok! What game would you like to play?" She beamed, bouncing towards you.
"What games to you know?"
"...none." Her antenna drooped slightly, but you were determined to comfort her.
"Hey! That's okay. I can teach you something." You nudged her shoulder gently. She smiled, her antenna returning to their usual position. "Let's play...guess who. Ask me questions and i'm give you simple answers, and you have to tell me who i am."
"You are y/n!" She beamed excitably, thinking she'd won. You chuckled, and shook your head.
"No, silly. I'm someone else. Someone you know."
"Are you a man?" She asked.
"Yes! Well done, you're getting the hang of it." You congratulated her and she beamed.
"Are you Drax?" She asked. You shook your head. "Are you...Peter!" She thought carefully before answering, and you nodded happily.
"Yes! Well done, Mantis." You nudged her gently. A silence fell over you both, before she piped up with a rather alarming question.
"Can i kiss you?" He innocent and curious voice asked, making you blush.
"U-uh...why?"
"Because i've heard that when two people like each other, they kiss."
"H-how do you know i like you?" You ask, getting rather flustered, before realising. "Oh, right...empath..." you turned back to her, and quickly pecked her lips. She giggled, excited. Suddenly, a voice piped up behind you.
