It's ME/CFS awareness day. I'm stuck in bed after a meltdown at school. It made me so tired.
I can't make a good post right now.
Myalgic Encephalomyelitis ruins lives, and at its most severe, kills.
Wear a damn mask.
I’m allowed to be lazy. Disabled or not. Laziness isn’t an inherently bad thing y’all just too caught up in hyper capitalist hustle culture to care. I don’t owe you productivity. I’m allowed to rest.
My rest is radical.

as harmful as the misinformation around food ingredients is, i thank every single abled bodied self-righteous clean-eating vegan for letting me be able to do this while grocery shopping online:
because i HAVE to. not because food ingredients like sugar, soy, and fat are evil and dangerous. but because i have DISABILITIES that prevent my stomach from DIGESTING them when it is SUPPOSED to.
with yall** it is the complete fucking opposite. because you CAN eat it. you just dont to because you think what - those ingredients are evil and dangerous and not eating them makes you a healthier better person than everyone else?? you're so fucking annoying.
we are not the same. stop treating our disabilities like a lifestyle and spreading misinformation that just ends up with people thinking real disabled people are lying or conspiracy theorists.
P.S: veganism and vegetarianism are morally neutral. so is eating a lot of sugar and high fat foods. because guess what. food is fucking morally neutral. companies? are not. they are lying to you about so much and yet you wanna play pretend disabled instead. pathetic.
if you're gonna change your diet based on your morals, do it in a way that actually improves your community and health. look at how other countries regulate their food. look at real, unbiased science. learn how to tell if a research paper is credible or has conflicts of interest. share what you learn with others. go advocate for access to nutritious food.
but at least you're so easy to market to that i have better accessibility on Walmart dot Com. if the filters even fucking work that is.
**this post is not directed at anyone who's trying to eat healthier or paying attention to what ingredients are in their food. there ARE harmful ingredients in some food in the US, for example. however. BASIC nutrients and natural ingredients are not it. and if you think eating less sugar or fat inherently makes you healthier or a better person. you're just wrong lmao
In just a few months, I’ve gone from mild/moderate ME/CFS to severe ME/CFS. This shit is awful. I’m lucky enough to be on short term disability now and thankfully it’s enough to cover my necessities. But I can’t do anything. I can’t even play video games. This shit is awful.
Anyone out there have any helpful gadgets or ideas for things to do for fun that could help make this ME/CFS a little less unbearable?
((and i won't be getting well
collage about chronic illness, with lyrics from fainéant girl. inspired by another artist i follow's own collage about their struggles, but for the life of me i can't find it or remember which artist it was. i'll link it if i find the post again.
happy disability pride month. i believe in you.))
