what do you think about it? 🤔
I really love this moment of bonding between Oracle and a young toddler with developmental disabilities.
This scene not only highlights solidarity between individuals with physical & mental disabilities, but also emphasizes the importance of accepting & loving other people for who they are, rather than trying to force them to conform to societal norms. It correlates with Barbara’s character flaw of feeling the need to be in perfect control of all of her surroundings to protect her loved ones, which inadvertently causes her to push away her comrades, such as Black Canary (whom Barbara fired from the team earlier in the issue out of fear for Dinah’s reckless behavior).
In other words, don’t be either a control freak or a conformist, kids!

"Piss out posers"
Finding out that the essay "scandal" professor is a trans woman really put that story into perspective for me.
I guarantee this was done semi on purpose by that girl and her ilk to yet again demonize trans-women in public education. Because she's moving real quick and already has lawyers and the backing of Prager U.
I bet you Samantha Fulnecky was already not doing well in that class or school in general, ranted to one of her family members with right-wing connections, and singled out this professor because of her other-ness and they planned this to further their anti-trans fake christian agenda. That essay assignment was the perfect jumping off point.
Samantha is just a hint smart and pretty enough to appeal to the other dummies who see non-conforming people's existence as a threat and not be a threat herself.
We're going to be seeing the "I'm a real woman. That fake woman is threatened by my real God fearing womanhood." Interviews on Fox News real soon.
