I’ve answered 1 a few times!:D

12. if you could change one ending to a book/show/game/etc, what would you change about it?

I still feel narratively Cheated by the way LHQ ends?? heck with that, Gwyn’s gonna go find his brother and they’re gonna have that duel and then become friends and go fight with other nobles AND THEN Gwyn can have some kind of dramatic death but come ON, Hugo 13. do you mind sequels that are completely different with a new plot and new characters or do you prefer they stay with the same story and characters?

..I admit this one kinda confuses me because if it’s the same story and characters isn’t that just a series? 

In general I do like a sequel to do something new!  If it can do that with the same characters that’s great, but sometimes the characters just got where they needed to go at the end of the last story (or. all died), and there’s nothing wrong with making most fictional worlds bigger with an all-new cast!

...I do generally dislike it when everyone is the offspring of the characters in the former series, though. that just gets boring and so often ends up repeating the character dynamics of the earlier story and again, I want something new! :D

If Phineas and Ferb are young kids and step-siblings, why is Linda and Lawrence’s first date (or one of their early ones) at like, an eighties rock concert? Do you think they ended up not getting together until later, after having kids w other people?

You seem to be referring to Linda and Lawrence’s first kiss at Love Händel’s farewell concert, shown in “Dude, We’re Getting the Band Back Together.” 

We know that Linda and Lawrence dated and married when Candace was 7 and Phineas and Ferb were babies and that Love Händel toured in Albuquerque in 1993, which is the last date we know they played together before breaking up. 

Considering that the kiss happened at Love Händel’s farewell concert (which would have to have taken place after their 1993 concert since the band only broke up once), the time period is indicated to be the 1990s, which barely aligns with PnF’s timeline concerning the age of the kids.

while ophelia’s “madness” was probably written that way because of misogyny, it also (perhaps/probably unintentionally on shakespeare’s part) reflects a completely understandable reaction to the trauma of being a woman in her position, and the fact that this interpretation isn’t more popular (or really existent at all) in scholarly work while male characters get dissertations on probably-unintentional meanings and a rousing response of “the author is dead” is in & of itself a result of sexism
