Meanwhile today, it was back to training. I logged 77 minutes of #poolrunning time, including 12 x 3 minute intervals at a hard effort. Thanks to @elizabethclor for the inspiration to try this. I have to say it not only was challenging, but spiced up what frankly can be an exceedingly boring form of #crosstraining. Oftentimes people only do this when injured. I’m not, but still I’m determined to keep it as a part of my regimen through the winter and spring months; I go to the pool once a week and alternate a pool run with a swim workout. So next week I’ll be swimming. It takes a long time to get distance while pool running - all that work today yielded just 2200 yards. Glad my mile pace on land is faster than that!
