Etiquettes of Friday (Jummah)

1 - Bathing (Ghusl) 🚿on the day of Jumuah (Bukhari 877)

2 - To wear nice clothes👕 (Abu Dawood,)

3 - Use perfume ('Perfume' refers to men only, as it's not permissible for women in public) and uses the Miswaak. (Ibn Majah)

4 - Going early to Jumuah Prayer🏆 (Bukhari 929 & Muslim 1964)

5 - Walking 🚶🏻to Masjid for Jumuah Paryer (Al-Tirmidhi, 496)

6 - If the Saffs (rows) are already filled, one should not jump over the shoulders of the musallies in order to get to the front. ➰ (Abu Dawood)

7 - Try to sit as close as possible to the Imam. 🏐 (Majah, Tirmidhi)

8 - Listening attentively to Khutba (Sermon) 🎤 (Bukhari 934)

9 - Making a lot of du’aa’.👐🏻 [al-Bukhaari, 893; Muslim, 852]

10 - Seek the Hour:⏰ Rasulallah (sallahu allayhe wasalam) said: “There is such an hour on Friday that if any Muslim makes dua (Supplication) in it, his dua will definitely be accepted.” (Bukhari 935, Muslim)

11- Sins Forgiven: 👍🏼 The five daily prayers, and from one Jumuah to the next, are an expiation for whatever sins come in between, so long as one does not commit any major sin. (Muslim, 233)

12- Increase your Durood👐🏻 (example: Durood Ibrahim) “Recite Durood upon me in abundance on the day of Jummah since they are presented to me.” (Ibn Majah)

13- Recite Soorat al-Kahf📖 “Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah, will have a light that will shine from him from one Friday to the next.”

(Narrated by al-Haakim, 2/399; al-Bayhaqi, 3/249. Al-Albani Saheeh al-Jaami’,6470)

🌟Allah says: O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew. (Soorat Al-Jumu'ah, 9)

🌟 Don't Forget Allah: Allah says: And when the prayer is ended, then disperse in the land and seek of Allah's bounty, and remember Allah much, that you may be successful. (Soorat al-Jumu'ah, 10)

خاموشی کی فضیلت (Khamoshi Ki Fazilat) تحریر:فقیہہ صابر سروری قادری (رائیونڈ) قرآنِ مجید میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے کامیاب مومنین کی جو صفات بتائی ہیں ان میں سے ایک صفت خاموشی (Khamoshi) یعنی فضول اور لغو باتوں سے پرہیز کرنا ہے۔ ارشادِ مزید پڑھیں

قرآنِ مجید میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے کامیاب مومنین کی جو صفات بتائی ہیں ان میں سے ایک صفت خاموشی یعنی فضول اور لغو باتوں سے پرہیز کرنا ہے۔ خاموشی جنت کا مکان ہے۔ خاموشی اللہ کی رحمت ہے۔ خاموشی شیطان سے بچاؤ کا حصار ہے۔  خاموشی انبیا کی سنت ہے۔ خاموشی آگ سے نجات کا باعث ہے۔ خاموشی اللہ کے قرب کا باعث ہے۔

His ﷺ Kindness

Sayidina Anas ‏رضي الله تعالى عنه said,

“The Messenger ﷺ of Allah ﷻ was the kindest of people. By Allah ﷻ he ﷺ would never refuse any slave, male or female, who came to him ﷺ bearing water on a cold morning, and he ﷺ would wash his ﷺ face and forearms with the water. No one ever asked him ﷺ a question except that he ﷺ listened to him; and he ﷺ would not leave until the questioner left him ﷺ. No one ever reached for his ﷺ hands except that he ﷺ gave it to them; and he ﷺ would not remove his ﷺ blessed hand until the other would let go.”

🗣‘A Sufi is instructed to take his time in getting angry. Make sure you are not easily angered. Somebody must do something very nasty to make you angry. ⠀ 🙅🏻‍♂️Some people are always on edge. Take your time getting angry but when it comes to forgiving people, do it instantly. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said: ‘A True Believer is one who does not get angry easily and forgives instantly.’ Today in the New Age philosophy, every man has become God, they will destroy your emotions. You can ask for forgiveness but they will not stop persecuting you. They will say, 'Do not tell me what to do', but they will tell you what to do.⠀ ⠀ Human beings do not forgive. One who has the ability to forgive is a sincere human being. Do not begrudge someone so much so that you forget God - the heart of a True Devout believer is not so hard. He will instantly forgive and hug you 💞. The greatest humanity is to forgive. Nobody is perfect in this world 🌍.⠀ ⠀ There is nobody who has never made any mistakes; learn to forgive. 🙏 If you do not forgive human beings, do not expect God to forgive you.’
