Mbj doesn't know what to do with his lil human so to prevent conflicts and troubles carries him and let him in a place w the universal sign of "stay"
Even since their wedding, mbj with gentle hands guides him through the demon costumes.
If he has to fill some papers sqh is in the big cushion beside the hearth of the room.
In the throne room sqh has his own throne filled with furs.
He's always talking even if the others didn't understand him. In contrast, mbj is all actions. If his human does any alarming sound, mbj is there to make things right even when sometimes a lot of hand signs are needed to understand the other.
When you're having a rough day at work or in any other circumstance in life, Caleb is the kind of guy who will make you feel special. As he pats your head and soothes you with loving words, he sits comfortably on the couch with you straddling him. Complaining how tirelessly work has been and how everything suddenly seems to turned against you, it was too much!
“If I could take your pain and scatter it across the stars, I would. But for now… let me just be here. You don’t have to say a word. Just let me stay.” he says.
When you're speaking he will just suddenly kiss you on the lips, the kiss leading into a makeout. Caleb leaning in, lips brushing against yours. You couldn't help but closed your eyes, lips parting slightly, inviting him in. As he deepened the kiss, his tongue exploring your mouth. Just pure makeout in silence.
He didn't just makeout with you just out of lust or just because he was horny, it's his simple way of reminding you that he'll be your anchor in life—no matter how heavy the problem is. When he does that, all of your heart's aches and sorrows seem to ease.
“Shh. It’s okay to stop fighting for a minute. Breathe with me. Just breathe.”
Your body responding like it has a mind of its own, hands moving to his waist, pulling him closer.
As your kisses grew more passionate, breathing ragged. Caleb's hands moved to your breasts, cupping them gently through your top. Feeling the coziness and relaxation, as he kneads his hands to your plump breasts.
The ache didn’t go away, not entirely. But the grief softened its grip, like a hand unclenching in sleep. It lingered, yes—but no longer screamed. Now it whispered, and even in the whisper, there was room enough to breathe.
Your pain wasn’t expelled, just redistributed—like pressure in a sealed system. But comfort worked its way in anyway.
I've come to think of it that it'll last for almost an hour! Both of him and your's lips looking swollen as if something has stung it, as you both repeatedly bite one other's lips a countless time.
“You don’t have to handle it alone anymore. I’m here.”
And it's about war between Hell and Heaven. Again.
Say that you don't learn from your mistakes without saying that you don't learn from your mistakes, Vivienne. You nailed it!
Honestly, my expectations are pretty low right now but I'm gonna give Hazbin Hotel one last chance, at least for this little fellow.
Baxter unironically has the best design within the main cast. He ain't red. He wears no suit, bowtie or top hat. And, most importantly, he resembles his character's motifs (scientist and anglerfish).
Besides, I'm just a sucker for nerd/scientist boys. Can't help it.
It's funny that they literally had to say: "No, guys! Baxter is NOT Sir Pentious 2.0.!!!" Yeah, hope, he won't turn out to be another Vee's spy, just like Pentious. Or date a cyclops girl, just like Pentious. That would be pretty awkward, am I right?
Eeeeeerm... Okaaay. Maybe, these plot lines will be written better? Maybe, the creators will allow Baxter to do science stuff (I doubt it though)? Maybe, he won't get SA'ed for the joke's sake? Maybe yes. Maybe not...
Also I'm a bit worried about Abel's fate. If Vivziepop's able to create a fat character without making them evil / selfish / annoying / cringey? And the most interesting thing is - would he have a conflict with the main cast?
I mean, if anyone has a valid reason to disapprove Charlie's plan, it should be Abel. The guy was brutally murdered by his own brother. And if the idea of people like Cain redeeming themselves and living alongside him in Paradise doesn't bother him at all, that'll be so fucked up. The worse option would be if Abel voiced his concerns and they framed him as a bigot, idiot, or anyone else. But we should wait and see.
However, this line makes me skeptical:
Daddy issues? AGAIN?! Seriously, Viv? Aren't you tired of this crap yourself? Why, of all the characters, would Abel have daddy issues? Why not BROTHER issues, huh?!
I haven't seen most of the leaks but I heard that Adam is a hallucination now, hence his words might be Lute's projection. She doesn't like Abel (she thinks he's weak), so she assumes Adam didn't like him neither. I hope so.
Vox's introduction as a villain is kinda decent... visually. But I still don't understand what kind of threat he could pose to Heaven or Lucifer. And it's killing me they've literally pointed out on this themselves!!!
Also I was surprised that the other Vees barely appear in the trailer. There's a single moment with Valentino acting like a dumbass (because he's Karen from Mean Girls, duh), and Velvette just shows up in a few frames without any words. This is strange. I hope this doesn't mean Vel becomes less important than a piece of nothing or Valentino decides to redeem himself. That would be horrific.
Well, that's all I have for now. I'm waiting for the release but keeping my expectations low.
I love that Sakutaro decided to pursue a new dream. I often feel that society pressure you to accomplish all your goals when you're young, mostly in your 20's because by the time you reach your 30's you must have everything ready. However, the more I look around me, the more I see that it's far from being true. There is no age to start pursuing a new dream. You can start at any time and you don't have to rush.
Also, there is a lot of symbolism around the home in this episode 5. Kuji's house isn't only the place where he lives. It's also his workplace, but also the place where Sakutaro and Kuji spend a lot of time together. Kuji offers Sakutoro to move in with him until he finds his place... However, I believe he has already found his home and that's with Kuji. Now, they will live together and maybe it'll be the time where both of them will see it.
sam and dean fucking desperate, tearing clothes off, flinging them off somewhere into a corner of the room, not bothering to turn the light on or finding the mattress, just straight to the floor
it’s rough and fast, screams and groans filling up the cramped space, spit as lube, a quick pump and inside his brother half-hard
...I WAS going to talk about Win or Lose today, but because Percy Jackson just ended its second season (Rude), I guess I have to talk about that. Because I already talked about the first season, so I gotta talk about the second one because that's just how things fuckin' work.
Anyways...
Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season Two is ALSO FINE
Quick recap of my thoughts on Season One, I thought the whole thing was fine. It kept the same energy and personality of the book, had some great casting choices, and made a few changes that I felt were okay for the story were going. But it had major pacing problems and there were a few changes that I wasn't too fond of because it feels like it misses the point just a little bit. Still, I felt like there was some promise there. The writers just need to work hard to polish out the kinks and make something great instead of fine.
And then they made a second season that's also fine...but slightly better. Slightly.
But to go into why involves going into spoilers. Because while Season One had a few changes, Season Two is just...a lot more. To the point where they're essentially changing the story to offer a new experience, I guess, but one that does tie closely into the spirit of the books. There's just...a few that don't make a lot of sense to me.
Anyways, without spoilers, I think the season is still fine. The action's great, the kids are doing an even better job, and there are some bits that I think make this a fun watch, even if it isn't perfect. Now with that said...
Spoilers Below...
As for what I still liked, Walter Scobell is still Percy Jackson. He nails the charm and snark, and is really starting to get into the dark side of the character. There are moments where he comes to face the fact that he can put the world at risk for the people he loves, and Scobell does great in bringing that out. That scene when he shuts down after Luke takes the fleece and Annabeth feels real. Like, yeah, that's how a kid would react after feeling like he failed his best friend and his home. So good on the kid for doing that great of a job.
I also like that the humor of the books still carries through. Classic bits like Grover in a wedding dress is still comical, but not in an outdated, "Hurr-hurr, a boy is in a dress." So, yeah, I like that. And there's some new jokes that feel like they would be in the books. Like, Clarisse gets an army of dead soldiers who lost great wars. And one of the members of her army...is a Blockbuster employee who died during the streaming wars. That makes no sense, but dammit, it's fucking funny, and it feels like something Ricky would have done if he started Percy Jackson around the time the fall of Blockbuster.
And there are a few changes other than new jokes. Some that are done that I actually like. Because if I wanted the book to be done one to one, exactly, I would have just read the fuckin' book. So I am open to change if it makes sense for the story, and there are a few here that I think are handled well. However, I'm going to talk about those later, because while there are some altercations to the story that I don't mind, there's also some I'm not too fond of. And talking about THAT would lead into criticisms, so we're going to hold off for now so I can talk about the stuff about Season Two that makes it more enjoyable than Season One.
First there's Leah Jeffries as Annabeth, who's definitely doing a better job this season than the last. She's still missing some of that sass, but Jeffries is also making the role her own. She's doing a great job of making Annabeth someone who's trying to hold back a lot of her emotions so she can come off as the professional warrior she wants to be. Only for true genuine smiles and bits of laughter to come out when she's around Percy, which is perfect. Percy's the one who brought this lively side out of Annabeth and I kind of like that there's still so much she's holding back. Breaking this air of professionalism is taking a little slower, but I'm fine with that. When you're closed off for half your life, it makes sense that it'll take more than one adventure with some boy to change this side of you.
But you want to know what isn't all that slow this season? The frickin' Percabeth moments. My goodness gracious, this show is stepping on the gas when it comes to these two, and I'm all for it. On the one hand, the slow burn is part of what makes these two iconic and what makes fans desperate to see these idiot kids kiss. On the other hand, FUCK YOU, these two taught me what love is in Middle School, so I'm all aboard for leaning more into the potential romance between these two.
And even then...it can still be read as platonic. Specifically on Percy's side. This boy just has so much loyalty in his heart that any profession of dedication to someone else can easily be misinterpreted as a love confession if he's not careful. Just look at his "Burn it all down" monologue or him saying that Annabeth is his priority. You can tell that he's just trying to sound like a good friend, but look at Annabeth's face in every instance. People criticize that Jeffries offers no expression while Percy's offering these accidental love confessions, but I don't think that's the case. You see, Annabeth, to put it very lightly, has abandonment issues. To give a quick rundown, the people in her life are...
A mother who left a baby at the doorstep of an abusive household.
An adopted sister who turned into a tree
And an adopted brother/crush who turned evil
Girl is pretty much used to people in her life leaving her or leaving them. So here comes this boy who's just saying these constant professions of his undying loyalty to Annabeth, who knows there's a good chance that he'll stick around for another three years, she...doesn't know how to react. She's never met someone like Percy before and it's throwing her off. Just look at her during the "burn it all down" monologue.
Part of her is astonished...but also a little scared. Because, yeah, it's a good feeling to have this person admit they'd do anything for you. But knowing that he'll one day make a choice that could either save or doom Olympus kind of scares her because that choice might revolve around her one day. And, like...How would you react to something like that? I know I probably wouldn't do well.
So, they're not the exact Percabeth moments I remember, there's no underwater hug or peck on the cheek, but the stuff we do get would be stuff that would have driven fans feral anyways if they were in the books.
Speaking of changes...I'm still holding off on that. I'm sorry, but there's still some stuff that I want to talk about first. Real quick.
Because there are new actors in this season, and they're also perfect for their roles. Timothy Simons as Tantalus is especially some fun. He looks like he's having the time of his life playing this absolute scumbag and I love it. And Daniel Diemer as Tyson is doing a good job to play the role respectfully. Because Tyson is canonically a baby cyclops. But the way he looks older makes him come across as a mentally-disabled coded character. For that kind of thing, you got to play the role carefully, coming across as a child but not in a way that would offend those that Tyson's sort of meant to represent. And like I said, Diemer does a good job at toeing that line and making Tyson seem innocent, lovable boy we know and love him as.
Now, let's finally talk about the changes. And, again, there are some stuff I do like. For instance...
I like that Sally Jackson basically adopted Tyson. That makes too much sense, I can absolutely see her doing that. It shows off how much of a naturally caring woman Sally is, even if this show gives her a touch more sass (Another change I also love).
I like seeing more of a sensitive side to Clarisse. It comes with the benefit of having the show work outside of Percy's perspective, allowing characters to develop and show deeper layers to themselves without Percy having to be there to witness all of it. And Clarisse's difficulty to get her troop of failed soldiers to respect her is a nice touch that shows how she's someone who has little patience for anything, but is willing to find a way to inspire soldiers of war once accepting that she needs their help.
I like that Annabeth's vision of the sirens is a little different to show off her hubris better. For a second, I actually believed that Annabeth somehow saw through the sirens trap, being impressive enough to gain Athena's attention. Only for it to all be a part of their trap from the start. That's pretty clever, and you do see a bit of Annabeth's feelings towards Luke shine through just a bit when she stabs the fake PERCY first before stabbing the fake LUKE. That is...not fun. Not fun at all...
I like giving Polyphemus more intelligence. That's a twist I didn't see coming and I think it works well in making him come across as more of a threat as opposed to a dumb, raging monster. That works.
I like that the fight on the boat is more of a rescue mission than a one-on-one duel between Luke and Percy. You still get that fight anyways, and it is awesome, but it still makes for a cooler, more engaging climax to see characters like Clarisse, Grover, and Tyson have more agency in the whole thing. Annabeth does squat except to try and appeal to Luke's good side and fight one guy, but not everything can be perfect, right?
And Sally Jackson coming in to pick the kids up from their dangerous rescue mission is just perfect. It's no Party Pony going in Commando style, but the kids calling Sally to pick them up with the energy of a children who got in trouble at the mall is just...the best. I have no notes, I'm sorry.
So, yeah, THOSE are changes that I like. And as you can tell, there's a LOT of them. But again, I don't mind that there are. There are times when it's okay to change something up as long as the spirit and the initial intent is still there...HOWEVER, there are some changes I'm not too fond.
I don't like that they just kind of wrote out Chiron. Yes, Sally Jackson coming in to save the day is the best, but Chiron is a character that's just as important to the story. Him getting fired is a big deal and it's hardly acknowledged, same with him coming to save the kids when Luke captured all of them. It leads to a heart to heart between him and Percy as he reveals the dark truth that Kronos is his father, which shows that even a man Percy trusts more than anything has dark secrets that even he's ashamed of...Only for the show to ignore all of that by having Mr. D spill the beans about Chiron's heritage and giving him a different secret to tell that's...a whole different can of worms, for sure.
I also don't like that the kids knew the fleece would bring Thalia back. That was a huge twist in the book, and was well-done in proving how a few steps ahead Kronos really is to orchestrate this complicated plan that gives him a new champion to potentially manipulate. So to have it be the main reason why they must get the fleece to her for the finale, even though saving the tree is already a big enough reason in of itself, it just feels...odd. Like, I don't know why they'd intentionally make a weaker twist ending for the story.
Same goes for the real reason why Thalia turns into a tree. Zeus' love for her is one of his few redeeming qualities, so to have him willingly put her in time out because he's scared that Thalia is capable of potential betrayal feels...wrong. Like, we already spoiled our big twist in the story, so we might as well come up with a new one. But if that were the case, then why not just keep the twist that the fleece would heal Thalia the same? It makes no sense.
And I REALLY don't like that the climax is changed to a final battle between the camp, Luke's demigods, and monsters. Otherwise, it kind of takes away from the Battle of the Labyrinth's climax. A huge battle happening in a place where the characters feel the most safe...can only be done once. Its impact can really be felt the first time. So to do it this soon makes it feel like when (or if) they get there, it won't be as strong because...we already did this and things turned out fine. Therefore it'll turn out fine again.
Changes can be fine. That is, until they hurt the overall story. Even changes I don't mind for now could potentially get worse down the line. Like, I kind of like that the show builds up this uncertainty about whether or not Thalia would fight for Camp Half-Blood or for Luke, but that's something that could only depend on how well The Titan's Curse builds it up. Which likely won't turn out all that well...given how this show still has doodoo pacing.
This isn't necessarily a problem with the show itself. This is a problem with Disney+ and modern streaming services forcing shows to be in played in a quick, watchable binge. And while that can work for some shows, it's clearly not working for this one. I clocked in on that when the first episode just skips Percy and Tyson's life at school outside of a quick montage. That was a necessary step in the book, showing this new normal for Percy and naturally showing him build a connection with Tyson. So to skip all of it so we can go straight to saving camp from danger feels like we're missing essential steps. Same goes for leaving camp by episode two, skipping over how different camp's changed under Tantalus' rule, which makes him poofing back to the underworld all the more satisfying. They don't even linger that long on the fact that he can't eat or drink anything, making the mean-spirited joke of him dying the exact moment he finally grabs food doesn't hit as hard as it should. The pieces are THERE, they work enough, but they'd work better if we saw more.
And it occurs to me that if this will be a recurring issue for the series going forward, then Seasons Three through Five are not going to do so well. Because do you really think that The Titan’s Curse can work in eight episodes? Or The Battle of the Labyrinth? Or THE LAST OLYMPIAN? Personally, I don’t think so. Not unless the writers fight for more episodes or longer ones. Otherwise, they’d have to cut out huge chunks of the story or skip the essential build-up to make the big moments hit as hard as they do. And that’s going to hurt the series more than anything else.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians, as a show, is fine. But for now, I can go so far as to say it’s only fine. The acting’s nice, the jokes are great, and there are good changes that make for a new, fun experience for fans. I am enjoying myself watching it and I do suppose I owe the series for reigniting my love for Percabeth. Like, holy shit, I am just obsessed with these two all over again, and I owe this series for that for delivering more cute moments. However, there are still changes that make the story feel worse and poor pacing that makes it hard to linger on any big moments so we can skip ahead to even bigger ones. I suppose it’s not too bad, but as someone who felt like his life was changed because of Percy Jackson, it inspiring my writing style and sparking my love for adventure books, I want something more than fine. For myself and potential new fans being introduced to Percy Jackson through this show.
I like it enough, but it’s gonna take more for me to love it.
John Price hearing your alarm blaring that you’ve hit snooze on for the upteenth time before rolling over and cuddling into his side groaning. John smirking to himself that he know you’ll oversleep again no matter how many alarms you set for yourself, slowly pushes you onto your back before kissing you softly, his hands squeezing your hips, as he trails his light kisses down your body. Bunching up one of his old shirts, that you’ve shamelessly taken from him as soon as the two of you moved in together, pushing it up to your neck before teasing your nipples. Spreading your thighs to position himself between them and shooshing any whimpers, trailing his tongue and kisses down your stomach nipping at your hip dips groaning when you push into him. Smiling when he sees your not wearing any panties and start slowly licking long stripes up your slit before sucking your clit into his move feeling your thighs close his head in and your cries and pleas for him. John who will pin your wrists to your sides as he eats you out like a man starved feeling your walls clenching around his tongue, hips twitching with each nip to your clit before sucking gently on it, chuckling as you beg him to just fuck you already. John will persistently suck your clit right up to your orgasm which will make your back arch off the bed, your hips shifting away trying to escape the overstimulation his mouth was doing to you clit, using one arm to pin your waist down while his other hand will thrust two of his fingers quickly in you. Stabbing that sweet gummy spot that makes your toes curl and eyes roll to the back of your head as your second orgasm washes over you easily, moaning into your shared room. The alarm going off yet again making you jolt as he pushed himself up over you smiling licking his lips, “Time to get up sweetheart.” Before kissing you quickly and going downstairs to make your coffee.
