Running after a blizzard in the snow is more frustrating than I thought lol! Very slow and had to be very careful. Used my snow tracks on my running shoes. It was good to get some fresh air!

Another very humbling run 😂 Think my fitness goal for July will be to run this hilly little 2 mile loop at least twice a week just to try to up my stamina bc I found it so much harder than I want to admit 😂 Not at all surprising though bc I've been really inconsistent with running this year. But it was a really good workout for my heart and the rain was nice and refreshing so I still enjoyed it and I'm happy with that. Also, a pre-run selfie for lovely @therambl3r 😊 Not sure who to tag, it's 4am and I can't sleep so if anyone wants to chime in with an SDS and tag me, please do!
I did it! 🎉🎉🎉 This was so much harder than my first half. I know it’s cause I didn’t take my training seriously. My next one isn’t until September, so I have time to relax but also plenty of time to get it together.
This run didn’t feel great... I feel like I’m still fucked up from drinking and staying up all night on Saturday night. I definitely can’t make that a regular thing...ugh!! Been in a pandemic funk the past few days/ week...
It was a very foggy start to Thursday. It cleared and turned out to be a beautifully sunny for the rest of the afternoon. I walked at morning tea and by lunchtime I didn't need a jacket at all as it was 16ºC out with no wind. By home time it had cooled down and as I biked home the fog began to roll in again. I love running in the fog so headed out for a five km run on tired legs. I couldn't get any speed out of my tired legs but that was ok I was just enjoying running in the fresh air. I hit the tiny gym when I got home and did some stretches and exercises before dinner. Last night there was a spectacular sunset which I managed to miss the best of but captured the bottom pictures as I rode through the wetlands. Plenty of ducklings about, Spring is here.
This humidity will be the death of me 🥵
Another mini run (short distance in slow motion) and omg did my whole body hurt from running the day before, but slowly I start to remember how it felt like running, when I was a super slim long distance girl 🏃🏼♀️
I GOT THIS! Clip was created by oh no im becoming a speed runner!
