Batman just being acknowledged as the "dad" of the young sidekicks of the Justice League. Batman who consistently listens to what the kids and teens have to say. Batman who remembers birthdays or big exams or milestones and always has a card filled with money for them or a present for them. Batman who praises them, offers only constructive criticism. Batman who gets some slang and references. Batman who treats the kids like colleagues, not as kids to be belittled or dismissed. Father's Day comes around and the kids are lining up to give him boxes of Lynx, macaroni art and cards and it just pisses off the rest of the JL.

Silver Age/The Happy Harbor Era (we all caught up? good? here we go! Gardner Foxs iconic run and humble beginnings, these stories are really great for me personally, i think everyone should give it a read if you wanna see how the league started, i do admit for some they may find it a bit of a drag for some who lack attention as Gardner Fox does suffer with characterization at times and is more into plot, then emotional depth which is among a common complaint for some, but the story quality is definitely there. Gardner Fox pulls out all the stops, and gives us JSA crossovers, villains like Felix Faust, Amos Fortune, Kanjar Ro and Despero, and bonus heroes like Metamorpho, Adam Strange and Zatanna, I always have the mindset im reading as a kid in the 60s and I think i just love how whimsical it is and you can tell the entire team cares about each other, you can still see the relationships with the team, I will provide an alternate route if you are interested in beginning with Dennis O'Neil that is an option as well)

Everyone knows that King Phantom's appearance fluctuates based on his mood and the task ahead.

Dynamic battle, working in a team to achieve the impossible? King Phantom is a young boy of 14, quippy despite the inherent sadness of a child ghost.

Showboating, standing in front of a powerful enemy to tell them that "No, Earth is already occupied." or to a ghost: "You've taken it too far this time." And King Phantom is a huge man with red eyes and hair that flickered like candleflame.

And if the mission was sabotage and espionage, sneaking into fortresses previously impregnable? King Phantom is a girl, even more unsettlingly young than the first.

Danny has no idea why everyone has so much trouble keeping the three of them straight - constantly referencing events that happened while he was on sabbatical from JLA work. However, Danny does appreciate that because technically all three of them are technically the same person that the King workload can be spread out a bit - those realms are infinite after all.

pre identity reveal jla au where everyone on the team thinks superman is dating clark kent AND lois lane because he keeps trying to convince people to give them interviews so they think hes trying to help his bf anf gf further their career thru supernepotism.

Jla opinion on this is VERY split. Bruce thinks he’s being ridiculous and that it’s dangerous for him to be dating investigate reports. Diana thinks it’s not that important as long they report the truth. Barry thinks its sweet. Victor thinks he’s doing a good thing by promoting real journalism. Clark thinks this is hysterical.
