When I feel the Gods:
(I apologize, this will be long :})
I feel Hermes, in the wind between my fingers, when we're traveling down the country roads, between familial homes.
I feel Ares, when my parents lie to me, again and again, or when people find it entertaining to test my loyalty and patience in one.
I feel Apollo, when I walk out into the morning light after a day of sickness, where I could barely stand.
I feel Artemis, when I walk out under the cool night sky, and I feel like running as far as the eye can see.
I feel Athena, with the sudden urge to fill my brain with knowledge and history of anything and everything, including the Gods.
I feel Demeter and Persephone, when my mother and I finally feel on good terms again, and our laughter fills the car space.
I feel Aphrodite, when I've gone through a depressive episode and can finally make it to the shower, washing away the sadness, and coming out not hating myself.
I feel Dionysus, when my friend takes me out for drinks and we spend time eating pizza and laughing at YouTubers.
I feel Zeus and Hera, both when my parents are happy, and also when they're not, one of them happening more than the other.
I feel Hades and Thanatos, when my family experiences a loss, and I can't process why they're all so upset.
I feel Eros, when my baby brother kisses a cut on my skin, or when my other brother mentioned that he made too much food.
I feel Poseidon, when the storms forecasted turn out to be a simple drizzle, or when my family drags me off to visit the ocean, and I end up smiling.
I feel Hestia, when I cast home protection spells, and have full faith they'll work, because they always have.
I feel Hecate, when I ask myself a question and see the answer before me, or when my eyes pass over the keys in my altar.
I feel Hypnos, cradling my head, when it's late at night, or early in the morning, and I can barely keep my head up from lack of sleep.
I feel Eris, in the middle of an argument and I tell someone news they never should have known.
I feel Hephaestus, when I finally get my technology to work, or I help others with theirs.
Do you have any experiences like these?
