the moment when you get so obsessed with an AU you stay up until 4am making a self-insert OC to be stupid with the ringmaster (they're both 💫dramatic💫, aroace and can't stand blood)

long story short, my besties ( @stormy-nights-are-best and @loveellakai (killing them with hammers<3)) threw me in TADC not so long ago, and I crashed HARD into it. Now that I found out the macroverse AU (that belongs to @anessthetic !) I'm totally head over heels about it

About the OC: this is Annie! she's Caine's assistant and works helping to make the shows happen and also participate at times, when to substitute somebody of the main cast or just because the ringmaster asked her to be on stage. I'm still working on her design, as she has her own usual and presentation clothings. she's in her early 20s, learning fast how things work in this bright happy place

lore: Annie applied along a very long line for the job of assistant for the circus, and the meeting with the ringmaster of it got her the job. I may or may not be thinking about a comic of how that happened, since these two are pretty much besties. They're not related, but Caine basically looked at her and went "yeah, that's my sister now" and she didn't choose otherwise. she's way more quiet than him, but they share interests, including the clown make-up :)

bluudud has really bad thalassophobia and once played subnautica on stream. the only reason he didnt stop immediately was for the viewers but he was constantly on the verge of a panic attack for the whole thing

the amount of times he paused the game, dropped his head in his hands and just sat there for a few moments got so bad that near the end of the game someone donated (probably only 5 buck max) saying 'don't do that shit man' so he didnt and ended up crying on camera bc of a leviathan attack. he did beat the main campaign so yippee! but hes never touching it again with a 20foot pole

can I ask how and why you’re afraid of jello??? Like I just don’t get it? What part of jello are you afraid of??

Hello! Yes of course, I suppose it's not intuitive. But for some context, they've hypothesized the "fear of holes" is less a fear and more of an evolutionary disgust response.

My "fear" of Jello is the same, and based entirely on jelly-like susbtances moving. So the sight of slabs of fat, unhardened agarose gels, jello (like the desert), pudding, jellyfish on a beach, lava lamps, anything gelatinous and wobbly makes me very nauseous and freaked out that I literally can't look at it lmao. There's a very stupid but fun story of the day my friend convinced her mom to make me my "favourite dessert" but l'll spare us all.
