This is going to sound stupid but how did you visualize seeing 15k? I struggle with imagining stuff. Thankyou if you answer
Not stupid at all, I used to struggle with visualizing too!! I used to only be successful by writing stuff down. But then I realized imagining is easy, and the only thing that matters for me is my perspective.
The times I have visualized successfully, the image only lasted for like half a moment, but it was enough.
Think of one of your favorite happy memories you have. Anything in the past that made you feel great.
Now, are you imagining an extremely vivid, detailed, flawless scene?
No! A happy memory may be just a flash of an image, or a feeling that makes you smile when you think of it.
Visualization is the exact. Same. Thing.
Visualization = remembering a memory.
Your visualization is just a memory.
You already have your desire. What would it be like if achieving your desire already happened? You would have a memory of it. So visualizing is about remembering the memory of getting your desire, and experiencing the joy, comfort, relief, excitement, and power, of being the you who has that memory.
Lets say I get rejected from a job I applied for. I don’t want to visualize that my rejection letter is actually an acceptance letter, so that it will manifest and the company will magically hire me as soon as possible. I don’t want to wait! I can’t wait! I need it now, right now!
The Law says that in order for me to have the job, I must experience having the job right now. Meaning I should NOT visualize receiving the acceptance letter, so that it comes. That would mean it's in the future, and I have not received it yet. If I already work at the company, I received the acceptance letter already, in the past. So that is what I should ‘visualize’ a.k.a. remember.
My visualization is the memory of opening my acceptance letter. I get to experience looking back at that happy memory, and I am relieved and happy and grateful that I got the job back then.
And the details of the visual don’t matter. I don’t need to see the whole room I’m in as I read the letter, I don’t need to know all the exact words on the paper, I don’t need to work out who I’m with or what I’m wearing. A memory is just a feeling. I imagine it so that I don’t have to stress about it anymore and get to rejoice that it happened! And then I go about my day, stress free.
I don't know if that made any sense. But the important thing is not to get too caught up in the details of the scene, or making it perfect or super vivid. That’s not how memories look anyway. It’s about remembering it happened, and experiencing having it right now!
If you’re worried you’re not doing it right, or that you imagined it wrong, that means you have forgotten that it already happened. It can’t not happen, because it already happened. It can’t manifest wrong, because it already happened.
Everyone visualizes differently, but this is basically how it goes for me:
Sit/lay somewhere dark and quiet and close my eyes
Focus on my breathing and the darkness. Until I feel very still and relaxed and natural
Repeat something to myself like “The outside world is a dream, it doesn’t exist” “I am safe in here” or anything that makes me feel like I can let go of the outside world and it doesn’t exist (because it truly doesn’t)
Let something appear in the darkness of my mind’s eye on its own–no forcing or controlling, just observing–and holding my attention on it for a while. This should feel nice. Usually for me there appears a little black fish thats swimming around, and I just let it go where it goes, and try to follow it and keep my attention on it. If I lose it, I gently catch it again and keep following it
When I feel very nice and focused, I try to imagine the scene I’ve chosen (e.g. holding the acceptance letter). Patience. No forcing anything, just letting it be what it will be. I allow myself to remember the nice thing.
Enjoy this whole process. This should not be a strain or require a lot of effort. The whole thing should feel very nice and relaxing and like taking refuge in a lovely inner resting place from the outside world
I might see my image immediately, or it might take a while. But once I’ve seen it, even for just a second, its so lovely and cool that I’ve gotten to experience it and I’m happy and I get up and go about my day, or fall asleep.
I'm sorry if this response is too long and a bunch of blah blah, I just got too excited to answer you because I have so many thoughts about this and am really inspired right now! Thank you for the question, I hope this helps at least a little🤍
