This is based on the post-Crisis On Infinite Earths 1988 miniseries, where Beautiful Dreamer and Big Bear had been married and had a daughter, Maya. Both marriage and child were retconned out of existence a few years later by John Byrne in the series Jack Kirby's Fourth World.
