A successful night! After unexpectedly getting called into work and missing out on my normal morning workout, I was able to do this tonight, wrapping up at 9:00pm at night. My husband did it with me and struggled the whole time. Sounds mean, but it made me feel good about myself, bc he’s always been stronger than me. The hard work is starting to pay off. Normally I try to shoot for a half hour, but we were trying to 100% one of the levels, and of course I unlocked something and had to go back and one hundred percent another level. Then we finished everything and figured we might as well do the boss fight and round it out. Looking forward to tomorrow morning and hoping I’m not too sore.

Does anyone want to be friends on the switch and “compete”? Might be nice to have another accountabili-buddy.

It’s gonna look a little different today in the pic, I accidentally skipped over my stat screen. But today was leg day and I stopped a level short of what I would normally do. But again, you have to know your limits. My old muscle tear was aching, and I do NOT want that to be a problem again. I was a little disappointed at the lack of distance, but most of these levels were stationary except for one.

I’m thankful that my weight maintained this week. My gramma passed this month and I’ve been having a really hard time, which would explain my gap since the last post. But I’m trying, I really am. I took some me time and now I’m going to try my best to get back on it. Even though today was hard, I pushed myself and came out sore and I’m proud of myself. Now I’m going to go sit in front of my tv after I shower with my sewing machine and a leftover sushi bowl (which, as you can see, I’ve gotten better at 😂 my third attempt at rice was pretty outstanding, and every time since then has been wonderful. It’s great to make in bulk for my work lunches. And my husband eats it too, which is a win bc he HATES vinegar.

Trying something new since I can’t seem to stay committed. We got the Nintendo fit ring game. BOY does that thing work you hard. If you have the extra money, it’s worth the investment. And it’s good for someone like me who has trouble working out bc they get bored when it’s repetitive. My goal is to lose at least a little bit of noticeable weight before the holidays. I’ve stuck with this for a week now and I see it becoming a normal part of my morning routines.

Two pics today, because sometimes the game says “maybe you should take a break?” And I tried to say no and as I was selecting it, my dog bumped into me and I turned it to yes. So I actually did 34ish minutes today. Again, stationary levels, but I made it into another leg day by accident (one of my strongest moves is a type of squat). I’m feeling good today. Sore, but that’s generally a good thing. Here’s looking to tomorrow.
