“fuck ice and free palestine!!”

"Bottom does not mean sub" might as well be occult knowledge to some of y'all
call my man shredded lettuce because he be a sub topping
People saying "spice" instead of "sex" and calling romance "clean" if it has no sex scenes give off absolutely rancid vibes
Having ADHD is so fun because sometimes youre looking for something that you use regularly and definitely put away in a smart and reasonable place and you have absolutely 0 hope of remembering where and finding it. And then other times ur like "hmm I need a some kind of small pointed object. I feel like i remember seeing a paperclip under the left couch cushion a month ago, i wonder if its still there" and it is
"wait but if u saw the paperclip why would u just leave it there?" its the adhd. Also if i had put it away then i wouldnt have been able to find it a month later when i needed it. So. Checkmate neurotypicals.
Problem is when the ADHD catalogue is out of date, when you go to check under the couch cushion for that paperclip and it ISNT there, sometimes your brain will just give you a montage of false memories of everywhere you've ever seen a paper clip, like this
LMFAO
he is in fact gay as well
for anyone in the UK, needing to access discord and unable or unwilling to provide an ID:
as someone with experience in the discord console, unfortunately they made it a little trickier than just ctrl + shift + i about four years ago, i believe.
specifically what you're going to want to do is find settings.json in %appdata%/discord or the mac equivalent which is found with finder > go > go to folder. there is a setting there titled "DANGEROUS_ENABLE_DEVTOOLS_ONLY_ENABLE_IF_YOU_KNOW_WHAT_YOURE_DOING": and if it is not, copy and paste "DANGEROUS_ENABLE_DEVTOOLS_ONLY_ENABLE_IF_YOU_KNOW_WHAT_YOURE_DOING": true into the .json and then, only then you can do crtl + shift + i or command + option + i on mac.
best of luck!
So. ^THIS^ extra-step guide totally works!
When you've enabled dev tools and opened Discord's console, input THIS code:
Object.values(webpackChunkdiscord_app.push([[Symbol()],{},r=>r.c])).find(x => x?.exports?.default?.__proto__?.getCurrentUser).exports.default.getCurrentUser().ageVerificationStatus = 3;
i'm not sure why this was posted without the link to the actual GFM but here it is
By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered: Section 1
To be entirely clear: This is very much intended to create a legal pathway to load homeless people into vans, incarcerate, and enslave them (Most incarcerated people in the US are enslaved)
Congratulations, they’re not only going to disappear the homeless and the folks suffering from addiction, they’re also going to disappear folks with “serious mental illness.” Serious according to whom?? Are we disappearing “unruly wives” or LGBTQIA folks??
Yes to all and more. They want to be able to do this to anyone they deem a problem to society.
Call your congresspeople and tell them to oppose this LOUDLY.
“protect children” <- reactionary drivel basically every time
“be kind to children” <-radical thinking that causes way more arguments than you would ever imagine
"empower children" <- even more radical thinking that will get the "protect children" crowd claiming you're the one they need to be protected from

By the way, the prosecution just violated Luigi Mangione's HIPAA rights and I have not seen people talking much about it
Attorneys for Luigi Mangione, the man accused of killing United HealthCare CEO Brian Thompson, say Manhattan prosecutors wrongfully obtained
^for those who'd prefer text over video
holy crap, the judge said the violation’s bad enough that, if it’s true, he might end up dismissing the charges against Mangione outright
While that would be karmic for the prosecution, I hope charges don't get dismissed, because I'm pretty sure he would have to move out of the country to be safe. He needs to be found not guilty by a jury.
If he gets found not guilty he will still need to move out of the country to be safe
I wonder what People Who Really Like Trains liked best before trains. the first sights of the first trains in history must’ve hit those brains like a galaxy going off.
Things I’ve seen records of historically that fit the same niche:
Sailing ships! I’ve read transcripts of diaries where people get Very Excited about ship spotting
People in the tags have suggested clocks and I’m seconding this, the Clock Guys seem to have peaked in a pre-train society. This includes automata and clockwork mechanisms imho.
Birdwatching
Jacquard looms and other similar large-scale intricate machines
Astronomy
Glassmaking, particularly lenses
Mass migrations of animals
Construction of cathedrals and temples and other massive structures
Mail coaches and mail delivery
And horse, of course.
this is so late renaissance early mannerism. the controversial male nudity? the lighting and value on the figure of emphasis?? him bathed in light and placed ABOVE while the police are clad in dark and BELOW?? Uh HES HITTING THE CONTRAPPOSTO??
While it's true that mandatory identity verification will inevitably be leaked on a massive scale, the thing you need to understand when framing these arguments is that a lot of the folks in favour of such measures don't see that as a bad thing. Full de-anonymisation of the Internet is their explicit goal. Like, the actual objective here is for everyone to have a public record of everything they say and do – online or otherwise – linked to their government ID. The universal panopticon is the good ending as far as these people are concerned.
So what's the better way to frame these arguments? Is there one?
If your aim is to persuade, you can't just stop at "your identity and activities will be made public". A lot of the people you're trying to convince don't see that as bad in and of itself, and as far as they're concerned, the fact that you do means you've got something you hide. You need to take it past "your identity and activities will be made public" and hit specific, actionable negative consequences of that disclosure.
"you know when you talk about a product, and then all the ads on Facebook or in website sidebars are that thing? That will be everything.
Your children need to use the web to research a topic food school? For church? That will be publicly available and attached to your kids face, or to yours. . Any medical conditions you look up, you will be assumed to have, and your insurance company will be able to purchase that data attached to your name and face. They will know when your child is sick, when your spouse is sick, when your parents are sick, and your employer could buy that information in order to justify not promoting you, or firing you, because you might miss time. It will be publicly available what news sites you use, where you get your investing information, which candidate in the local election you spent the most time looking at. You want to travel? There are many sites that already track IP addresses, but now anything you tell United Air, every hotel within a hundred miles will be able to buy your itinerary and whether you bought travel insurance. Do you think your rates will stay affordable? Or will you be harassed until you join a points club or get a credit card in order to visit your mom for the holidays affordably? If you don't buy your tickets immediately, or go to a different air travel vendor, they'll have paid for that information as well.
Facebook shows your account and your kids account to your abusive ex that you've fled from, and we're relying on anonymity to create a buffer. You've been so careful, but the algorithm matched last names and birthdays against old public records and the last census, and noticed you might know each other.
Your data is already a product. With your name, face, and credit score attached where everyone can see them, now it's a weapon against you specifically."
falling back in love with a ship is so fun because it’s like oh that’s why i was deranged about those two. ok then.
