Little bit about myself & interests:
I’m a 16yo gay trans man who’s happily taken:) and I’m a cane user who’s trying to get leg braces because knee braces aren’t enough
I’m not 100% sure what’s wrong with me and my body, but I have been diagnosed with Joint Hypermobility syndrome, POTS, anddd autism..! I’m still going to doctors and trying to find a place to do physical therapy because I suppose it’s not normal for your body to be in constant paint…
Things I’m into include The Last Of Us, Haikyuu, Bungo Stray Dogs, Criminal Minds, Money Heist, Given, JJK, Avatar the Last Air Bender, Saiki K…
My absolute all time favorite media and thing in the whole wide world is VOCALOID and Project Sekai!!! My fav Vocaloids are Fukase, KAITO, Len… !!!!

I want to complain, vent(?), and ramble about my physical disabilities that make my life hard and exhausting.. But I also want to try and accept that this is a part of me and accept my current situation and diagnosis’s. I also just wanna try existing in a space like every one else:) and talk about things that make me happy!!!
if your disability makes it difficult for you to leave bed to brush your teeth, Colgate makes a product called Wisps that are single use, no-rinse toothbrushes you can use while in bed. They have a bead on the brush that dissolves and acts as toothpaste and can be swallowed. The other end has a toothpick.

I really like “I Refrain” by Carl Angelo right now. swag cool Filipino boy who is an old coworker of mine so I’m a little biased. I listened to it for the first time while driving and had to pull over and cry in a parking lot. It’s just so genuine and vulnerable and brings up a lot of feelings. I don’t even know this guy that well but he’s such a gem of a man and so is the album.

It'll get better doesnt always mean that your disability will improve. For many of us, our disability only further degenerates and this is naturally discouraging. "it'll get better" is talking about *you*.
It'll get better.... because you've learned what helps minimize your symptoms.
It'll get better..... because you are more educated on your problems.
It'll get better.... because you have worked hard to find and use a support network.
It'll get better.... because those who matter take the time out to try to understand what you are dealing with.
It'll get better.... because you'll know how to cope.
It'll get better..... because you learn to give yourself grace.
It'll get better.... because of all the work you put into maling your living situation more accommodating.
It'll get better.... because you'll learn how to acknowledge and work within your limitations.
It'll get better.... because you learned to enforce your boundaries.
It'll get better.... because you'll learn to cut toxic people out of your life.
It will get better because of what YOU do, regardless of your worsening symptoms. This isnt a mindless phrase toxic positivity. It'll get better is a reality... as long as you want and try to make things in and around you better.
It'll take time... But I promise: IT WILL GET BETTER. Even when it doesnt feel like it will.

why to able bodied people feel so entitled to stupid questions? like they don't actually care about us getting rights but they care sooooo much about weeding out 'fakers'..
you help nobody by constantly asking people if theyre reallyyy disabled. sure, YOU only asked that person once but do you really think a disabled person wants to be asked dumbass questions in bad faith by every 5th person? jfc
also ngl i have no clue why ableds think they're going to be so good at lifting someone or helping them up etc. when their go to is "grab on tight and yank". bro you are going to damage someone
some girl I barley know looked at my crutch and went, “what is that for?” I don’t owe her an answer. I went “I’m disabled” she looked me up and down, paused and said, “well duh I know that, but how?” SERIOUSLY?? I mean I get people who aren’t are so curious but why did she ask me so accusatory.
I make up the craziest shit ever. Yea I use to walk but then I was stung by a nest of murder hornets. Or I drove a Prius at 200mph into a wall so I think I look pretty good today. Or I took an arrow in the knee.
