Doing evil alter things, like showering because our host was too tired to. But evilly
Memory loss doesn't look like what I thought it would. I spent several years convinced I could have a dissociative disorder primarily because I "didn't experience memory loss". I wasn't waking up in a strange place unaware of how I got there. I wasn't having people I'd never met come up to me and call me by a different name. I wasn't finding things I'd bought unintentionally or projects I'd done with no recollection of doing them. But I was, not remembering why I was upset in the middle of crying. Finding journal entries I didn't write. Suddenly not liking music I saved on a playlist named 'my favorite songs ever'. Randomly wanting to make drastic changes to my appearance and then forgetting why I wanted to look like that. Not knowing what day of the week it was, or how many days it had been since I did something (was that this morning or 3 days ago). Having friends tell me I was acting differently when I thought that was how I always acted.
Seriously though, you are allowed to have fun with your disorder - especially with skills you built on your own hard work. Look cringe, romanticize your own life, make a game out of the silver linings of an unfortunate situation. If people wanna look at you and go “uwu thats fake don’t make this look like a game” they can go shove the stick thats up their ass and twist it.
One of the reasons our system has been able to build decent communication and get this far in team work and shit is just cause we chronically do the stupidest shit to bond which is like primarily spear headed by me being a social dumb shit and always coming up with annoying stupid shit to pester everyone into doing.
Talking about serious shit with parts and talking about trauma isn’t fun and isn’t easy because the disordered dissociated brain doesn’t wanna let parts talk, let alone about trauma - so like, fine, work within that. Try to talk to your parts about if pineapple on pizza is cool or not. Talk to your parts about if water is wet. Try to talk to your parts about their MBTI and make them take selfies or some shit. Do silly stupid and pointless communication because any communication is better than none.
Your life with DID doesn’t have to be all serious, all trauma, and all miserable. Being able to be happy and have fun with your parts and do stupid shit is not only possible and real, but really critical. Your parts aren’t there encroaching on your life or just a problem or just a coworker in some inconvenient shit, they’re parts of you - parts of your life - basically the family that goes deeper than blood that you are stuck to. You can cut off your blood family - I’m sure many of us have - but these guys are stuck to you.
You gotta make these relationships work and make them healthy, so you can’t just make your whole relationship with you parts all work, all stress, and all trauma or you’ll never develop a genuine good relationship with your parts and communication really won’t improve that well.
So god damn it am I gonna try to make all the parts deal with my Moon Knight obsession and try to get them to meme with me about it. God damn it are they gonna get me info dumping. God damn it are they going to info dump on me. Its called affection. I don’t care if its cringe, I deserve to have fun and to bond with my parts and God Damn It do I suggest people do the same.

You can tell a lot about a person by entering their mind palace and encountering their greatest fears and darkest hopes in a labyrinth reflective of their subconscious thoughts.

pls stop making relatable posts and tagging them with DID and plurality i do NOT have time for that right now
The best way to keep a secret is to only discuss it with the homie in your head.

Unlike you people, when I see an eldritch being, I don't whish to romance it, I whish to become it

Things get so crazy and u lose urself for a little bit then u get a night to wind down w a book before bed and u realize the 14 yr old girl who used to spend all her time at her school library tucked in her favorite corner reading her favorite books never left
the version of you that got through that thing you thought would break you, that person still lives inside you. you have that strength available whenever you need it
i dont know who that bitch in the mirror is but im gonna kiss her
Sometimes you just gotta make a whole playlist for that character that lives in your brain.

Shopping for groceries while being plural. Such a mundane activity. Yet to a singlet it would probably be equivalent to having a bunch of kids trying to tell you what they want. For us it's kind of like that I guess, but also kind of like downloading extra memories you didn't have before.
I set out to get groceries and remember one guy wanted croissants. I pick some up and hear "NO NOT THOSE ONES HE LIKES THE OTHER BRAND". I now know he cares about what specific brand of croissants he wants. I take like 5 steps and there's a guy like "choccy milk on sale Megumi you have to get some". I now know that this guy likes chocolate milk. I'm near the exit and some guy goes "wait do we have gum I need gum if we don't have any". I now know he needs gum to do something with his mouth instead of smoking. I get out the door and another guy goes "you need to remember to go to the other store to get my highly specific alcohol". I now know he was planning to drink with a friend. I go to pick up some ham and I remember some guy going to eat some but getting scared because he kept getting intrusive thoughts that it was raw and unsafe. Now I know that guy can't eat ham.
So on one hand yeah, on good communication days it's loud and it's a lot and it could be frustrating. It's like shopping for a whole family that all want different things. But it's also a way to learn more about each other and what we get up to in front, despite any amnesia. And above all else it's what we're used to. A quiet shopping trip is a lonely shopping trip.
Oh we felt this so hard - groceries together is chaos and masking in public can be hard but it's also just, this is who we are and the chance to get to know each other just a little bit better is so special. absolutely one of the huge positives of being plural for our system.
*reading my old posts* i would not fucking say that
