Nynaeve's (pre-unblocked) increasingly nonsensical attempts to make herself angry in order to channel will never not be funny. Her muttering at herself in the background of scenes in an attempt to work herself up to just get shit done while the others are arguing over what to do is always gold and by golly it better be in the show.

One of the biggest failings of the show is that nynaeve's stubbornness manifests as not willing to confront her block, instead of the funny and more agentic thing she does in the books, which is that she tries to work through her block, and in the meantime fixes it by just making herself angry. A character done so dirty by the show writers

Animorphs/Dr. House crossover? Eleutherophobia/Dr. House crossover?

I don't know House MD that well, so all I've got for an Animorphs crossover is the mental image of that one scene where House shoves a patient to see if they're faking catalepsy. Only he does it to Eva, she falls the fuck over and gets a concussion, and then she sues the pants off Princeton Plainsboro.

Anyone else who knows House and Animorphs better have more ideas?

Umm okay. Idk how to do this keeping them as kids but. The Animorphs as House's team. The new patient with a mysterious illness? A man named Al Fangor. He had wounds that looked like some kind of attack, but that's not what he's dying from. It's some [alien] illness.

Drs Tobias and Rachel break into his house and find the hirac dilest? Is this anything?

I feel like that's the season finale. S1 is all episodic with the through line of first Cassie, then Tobias, then after comparing notes, Cassie-and-Tobias noticing weird shit with patients who turn out to be controllers.

I don't really know what to do about house himself, though. He's a total detriment to the kind of story Animorphs is. Maybe he can be a controller too

If we're playing to close to the show, House is stubbornly rational and never believes any of it. Plays a Peter role where he's adjacent to the whole thing and serves occasional accidentally useful insights.

OR we could go with controller House trying to cover it up. Tom as House, Jake as Chase actually works pretty well here. The rockstar doctor who is kinda ruining his reputation upon being infested, his brother who was trying to live up to him but now wants to undermine him.
