You’re telling me this guy died, crawled out of his own grave, and then everyone that knew him only sees who he used to be. The boy that died? You’re telling me that even in death, his epitaph reads something so counter to his soul, so wrong to his experience and selfhood

You’re telling me he was reborn new from the grave of his former self, a self he can and will no longer be?

You’re telling me there’s a monument in what used to be his house, forever preserving the version of him that no longer is. That causes him pain, and some level of shame, to think about

You’re saying that his father thinks more about preserving the memory, the memory that hurts jason, that represents the death of his very being, and allowing it to haunt their house and every interaction they have?

note : design mainly inspired by flame reaver and khaslana from hsr. (the overall looks from flame reaver and the cracks from khaslana) my fav part of this design is the clipped and burnt wings, because he used to be a Robin before Joker "clipped" his wings and "burn" it.

Only DC would create a magical cult that kills evil entities for a character’s backstory making that character the chosen one of said cult before it was wiped out leaving the character as a surviving warrior who also has magical fire swords that are made up of their soul and can kill ultimate evil and then have the complete audacity to never bring it up again
