FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S
1. DRAWINGS:
-Reverse Timeline AU / Charlie and Elizabeth being friends
-FNAF Cooperative Mode: 1 / 2 / 3 / 4
2. FANFICS:
--> A creaking door hangs longest: Michael comes back home after being used as a skin suit for months, to find out that there was someone waiting for him.
--> No one can hurt you now: The world had always burnt around Michael Afton, the only difference was that, this time, he was dying with it.
3. THEORIES:
--> FNAF: Cooperative Mode: Usually, when a night guard discovers that their workplace has animatronics with killer intent, they do what normal people do: resign and never come back.
Michael Afton is not a normal night guard. And Jeremy Fitzgerald is, to Michael's horror, a stubborn piece of shit with no self preservation skills.
In February, my cat started to vomit. After months going to the vet, trying medication and doing everything I could, he died today. He wssn't even 2 years old.
I feel empty. He never left me alone during an anxiety attack, he always welcomed me home with joy after a bad shift at the bar, he slept at the feet of my bed and made me feel loved.
"TADC IS TRANSPHOBIC BECAUSE JAX IS AN ABUSER AND IT PUTS TRANS PEOPLE IN A BAD LIGHT!!"
Guess that Zooble, who's also trans, has dysphoria, and goes from a lone wolf to reaching out to others and ends the show in a happy relationship and surrounded by people they love was a product of my imagination. Uh. Weird.
Tbh I think the main difference between people who liked tadc finale and people who didn't is 'people who didn't interact a lot with the fandom and people who did'.
Average fnaf playable character only has from 1 to 7 bad days. Michael Afton, whose life is hell since he was 15, shouldn't be taken into account. Nevermind that those bad days might end up in death and misery, even if you aren't Michael Afton.
(I just wanted to draw some fnaf pcs and I ended up drawing all of them, that we know of at least)
FNAF THEORY: WHO WAS CONVICTED FOR THE MCI IN 1987?
And why Henry and William weren't part of Fazbear Enterteiment, during that time their company was ran by another person.
Yes, this is happing, long rambling coming because I haven't seen people actually talk about this.
Warning: I'm basing this theory only on the games, not the books. Games 1-7 are supposed to be a story you can discover.
So, let's star: Who was convicted?
First, we have to explain the base.
In FNAF 1, we get clues about the MCI thanks to four tabloids:
These papers give us the following clues:
TWO KIDS disappeared on June 26th.
The video surveilance identified the man responsable of the disappearence and was deteined the next day. He was convicted.
In total, there are 5 missing children.
There's a CEO who tried to sell the pizzerias with no luck.
This doesn't look like much, until you add the informarion phone guy gives you during FNAF 2, in 1987. First of, this new Freddy Fazbear's Pizza is a reopening, not an original location:
Second, we know the following things happen (all of this taken from Phone Guy's calls):
There's already rumors about the old locations, who leave a bad impression on the company.
A security guard has been switched to the day shift after he complained about his conditions.
The new animatronics have face recognition to protect the kids.
The animatronics from the older location are in the back, but there's no bodies there (the company tried to retroffit them with new technology).
In night 3, there's a new rumor about the pizzeria. In night 4, an investigation starts. In night 5, the restaurant is in lockdown.
The security guard mentioned in night 1 is suddenly gone. This implies that he was the one deteined. Phone guy also says that someone used one of the spare suits, the yellow one.
They're trying to contact the old owner, the one from Fredbear's Family Diner.
The CEO hopes that they could open a new restaurant, even under a lower budget.
Something happened during this week. It can't be Charlie's murder for numeros reasons: William killed her in an ally, outside of the restaurant, wasn't wearing the springbonnie suit, the Puppet is already posessed when you start FNAF 2 and the papers mention two kids.
And yes, the papers of FNAF 1 and phone guy in FNAF 2 are talking about the same incident, especifically because both remark that someone was detained for the MCI.
So, if you add the information from fnaf 1 and 2, you get:
In june 26th, two kids disappeared, the last two of the MCI. The security guard (day shift) was captured by the video surveilance and later convicted for the crimes. He allegedly used the Springbonnie suit to lure the kids.
The CEO at the time is someone different from the original owner.
First, we're asking ourselves the question: WHO was convicted? Who was that security guard? There's four possible answers:
WILLIAM AFTON: he's definitely the one who commited the crime, but I don't think he was the one convicted. Basically, because we know William's still around after 1987: he destroys the animatornics and is killed by the ghosts, which can't happen if he's in jail. This can't be something he did while he was in parole, because even if he had one, the suspect was convicted, meaning he was alive for his trial. In addition to that, I imagine that the sentence wasn't a short one, even without the bodies, so it isn't possible that William did all that after his years in prision. So William did comit the crime but he framed someone, that security guard.
MICHAEL AFTON: this is here mostly to explain why this isn't posible. Pretty simple: Michael is the one we play as in the extra night, so no chance he's the one deteined. Even if I think William would love to have Michael framed for his crimes.
HENRY EMILY: now, this would explain why Henry doesn't do shit until Pizzeria Simulator, but it doesn't quit fit. If Henry was the original owner, and he's the one deteined, phone guy wouldn't try to contact him. If he isn't the original owner, and William framed him, that implies that Henry was at least the security guard of the day shift, which just, why? Why would Henry do it?
RANDOM GUY: the most disappointed answer but at the same time the only one that makes sense. William framed this security guard, probably by using the uniforms (that and a cap to cover his face'll probably be enough to trick a security camara from 1987). If the MCI isn't something that happened in a couple of months, but trough the years, it's posible that the police were pressured to find a culprit. And here enters this guy, captured by the camaras near the scene of the crime and with acces to every room in the building.
Tbh, I think this idea only shows how much of a monster William is- not only is he killing these kids in a horrible way and hiding the corpses in animatronics, but he's also ruining inocent people's lifes to not get caught.
In FNAF 3, Phone Dude says that the mistery was never solved, so probably the guy was found inocent after some years in prision, but still, a few years in prision change someone forever.
Now, to the second part: why I don't think Henry nor William were part of Fazbear Enterteiment during 1987.
It has to do with the CEO, the mention of the original owner, and the whys:
Starting with William. If he was the CEO, and his intention is to keep killing, why would he give the animatronics face recognition? That only makes things more difficult for him. You could argue that it's the only way to bring people back to the restaurant, but as we see in FNAF 1, it's not, people'll come back either way. Which is more, we see William talking to what can be a shareholder's meeting in Sister Location. And, after FNAF 1, the CEO tries to sell the company, which wouldn't make sense if is William (also, he was dead a little bit after that and someone took the decision to close the 'safe' rooms).
Now, Henry. To him, it all comes back to the whys: Why would he reopen the pizzeria where his daughter was killed? Why would he then open the pizzeria in fnaf 1? And later try to sell the company? In pizzeria simulator, it doesn't seem that Henry is the CEO of Fazbear Enterteiment, but part of the corporation, trying to open a new restaurant as part of this 'rebrand'.
As additional notes:
You get a token in one of the later games that establishes that Fazbear Enterteiment, as a company, started in 1983.
So this is what I think: in 1983, Freddy's started to expand (more pizzerias, merch, a cartoon), and it became Fazbear Enterteiment.
After the death of Charlie, Henry walked away (or was kicked out), and he became the 'original owner ' we hear about in FNAF 2.
William, after the death of Evan, as we see in Midnight Motorist, starts to drink. He loses power in his own company, until he's kicked out after what happens in Circus Baby.
The new CEO is the one who keeps opening the restaurants, because he's trapped with a company he can't sell, and he's the one who cleans up messes such as closing the backrooms where William's body is located. That would also explain why Michael has to use fake names to work at the pizzerias (I doubt saying you're the son of the man you kicked out is a good speech).
And I'm really trying to focus this theory in the first 7 games, before money took control over the franchise, but we know that someone's still running Fazbear Enterteiment, someone that knows what happened in the past, so what if it is the same person? The same CEO?
With this, I'm not saying that there was another big bad in the shadows all along, it's more in the line of: 'corporation greed has been part of the games since FNAF 1, so having this CEO opening restaurants, treat employers like shit and keep the tragedies going, just because he's stuck with a franchise he can't sell and tries to make money out of it without a care in the world, keeps that mayor theme going'.
The inocent security guard framed by William reinforce how much of a monster he's, and the CEO shows how corporations always have one goal: to earn money.
And as my last indulgent note because I like secret of the mimic: William taking everything from Edwin when his 'alleged' friend was grieving the death of his wife (and later his son), only becomes more poetic if the same thing happened to him, and he was kicked while he was grieving the death of his son and later his daughter (appart from probably being a violent drunk and the murders that keep happening).
Remember that security guards need hugs from time to time!!
I'm having a terrible, horrible, no good at all year so I decided to take a little break and drew some jeremike and casettebunny.
Tapegirl design is form @chloesimaginationthings an amazing artist that, if for some reason you don't know, you should defenitely check!! Like right now!!
Sometimes I think the fnaf hyperfixation is leaving my body but then I see something that makes me lock the fuck in again and start to question everything again.
-Why did the clipboards in fnaf 1 only mention that 2 kids died in june 26 but the mci has 5 victims? What if they disappeared trough the years, and william was only caught in those last 2? In fnaf 2, phone guy mentions the investigation as something that is happening at the moment, in 1997.
-Was the fredbear plushie in fnaf 4 possesed, or was william the one talking? And, if he was, why was he saying things against himself? Things like 'he left you again'? Like, william wtf?
-Where did the name cassidy come from??? In ucn, the animatronics talk about the one you shouldn't have killed using he/him, so I'm a bit confused about that (I get the guide book has something to do with it, but I don't really trust it, it seems to me it was created because money). Also, the fact that everyone assumes cassidy and cc are the ones controlling golden freddy.
-What are the shadow animatronics and why do they have shiny teeth or are crying?? You know, something you can relate to cc!
-Why in ucn, every animatronc talks about the one you shouldn't have killed in third person except for the mediocre melodies, that talk in first person? WHY THEM!!??
-Chica being the first one to die doesn't make sense. Does that include cc and charlie, or it's only related to the missing children?
I don't even care about what's in the box I'm mad because fnaf 1-7 are supposed to make sense and have a story but scott said no one got it right and it's frustrating.
AND ANOTHER THINK I would love to see is a Superboy issue with Kon / Prime / Kid Jon dynamics where you have Kon 'questioned my role as a hero for years and lived for it but now I'm a young adult slowly discovering what I like and creating my own path', the Prime 'I don't exactly understand morality in this universe I'm cocky I'm arrogant and I'm obsessed with Superman and working with him and I'm following the former superboy mentality by accident' (and Kon doesn't know if he wants to kick the guy's ass or give him a blanket and a slice of pie) and Jon 'having a breakdown because I'm superboy I'm the next Superman but I'm being crushed under the expectations especially knowing I only have this title for being the biological son of him and Lois and not because I earned it'.
Just three superboys trying to explore the line between being a hero and having a live on their own, dealing with legacy and what it means to be a hero for them.
And I know that it's difficult because the whole prime story but I would give anything to see these three with the 'older, middle and younger brothers repeating cicles'. (in tai lung's voice) Their dynamic could bE LEGENDARY!
I think Batman is the first famous-it's-evetywhere-even-out-of-usa hyperfixation I have and it's weird because what do you mean if I buy two packs of mouthwashing I get a little robin as a gift. What do you mean something I like has merch in my town and it doesn't cost an arm. What do you mean my family knows about it. What do you mean I can actually order things in my local store instead of calling the devil (amazon). Crazy.
I need more fics with Kon and Jon spending their brotherly time being pinning idiots because they share the curse of being in love with their best friend who are completely clueless
here's the comic I drew for What The Sigma: A Zero Escape Meme Zine @zeroescapememezine ! I had a lot of fun experimenting with a more cartoonish style for this
the mental image of Akane, Hongou and Aoi being trapped in the freezer together if Junpei chooses door 5 had been on my mind for a while soooo here's a deeply unserious take on how that might have gone!
