Being into Umineko and Higurashi will genuinely have you moving like a snake oil salesman going door to door to introduce people to the miracle vns that changed your life. Like yes boy spend 250+ hours reading vns about how friendship perserveres even in the most dire circumstances and how fiction can save us in our darkest moments. Read my vns about magic, the cycle of abuse and how you need love to understand the people around you. Believe in your friends. Believe that things can get better. See the people around you as they are, flaws and all. Strip that redhead and walk him like a dog. Let the teenage girls commit manslaughter. Flip that chessboard. Everyone read Higurashi and Umineko NOW!
"Doug Walker" sounds like the name of an ace attorney character who witnessed a murder while petsitting a shih tzu
Aaaaaarghhhh! What a crazy scene.. What a ridiculous scene! I can't accept something like that!
Ohoho, but you saw it all, didn't you, Battler? You saw Santa Claus enter the house with magic, deliver presents, and leave! He even accidentally woke Maria up on his way out! Of course, all the doors and windows to the house were locked, and none of them were opened. How do you explain this with your human tricks...?
Aaah, it's useless... There had to have been some other entrance to the house we don't know about! For example, the chimney! The person claiming to be Santa Claus could have climbed down through the chimney, and then exited the same way!
It is impossible for a human to enter this house through the chimney, or any other entrance. Except, of course, with magic.
Hrrrgh....
Battler, don't give up. Remember, this child's catbox is only her own interpretation. You must remember to trust your own judgment.
That's right...! Beatrice, repeat it! "A third person that was neither Maria or Rosa really entered the house that night!"
Hrrk! ...I refuse. ...I will not give a reason.
Santa didn't enter the house at all that night! The presents under the tree were delivered by Rosa, dressed as Santa Claus. On her way out, she accidentally woke up Maria, who mistook her for the real Santa Claus. This explains why Maria can claim she witnessed Santa last night!
Hmph. Maria would definitely not misidentify Santa Claus by sight. And you're forgetting something, Battler... The cookies by the fireplace were found missing this morning, and Rosa did not eat them! If not Santa, then who ate the cookies, Battler?
Well, that, would have to be Maria, of course...
Maria did not eat the cookies! No other human was inside the house! The only one who could have entered was Santa, a Sorcerer!! Kiyahahahhahaaa, HEHEHAHAHAHAHAHHAA!!!!!
You can come to understand someone easily based on which Umineko mom they are attracted to most
ouhhhmmm. yeah i just wanted to give Eva some arm and Natsuhi a complex
Worst Jojo watch order: Watch every fight in the order of the release date of the song/album the enemy stand references. If it's an artist go by their first song released.
So true. Thank you Battler from umineko when they cry
umineko is killing off a lot of its characters really early for how many fucking hours are left in this playlist
more like umineko when they die
more like umineko when they lie (on the floor, dead)
more like umineko when they try (to survive (and fail))
When the seagulls cried again, none were left alive.
(Reading Umineko for the first time and i's taking over me!! and wanted to draw something, a Knives Out poster redraw hehe)
Disliking an Umineko character is awkward cause I can be like "this guy sucks I hope he dies" but I literally already saw him die and it's probably gonna happen again
This post is about George fuck you George
>what if your chronic headaches are actually caused by an invisible witch constantly beating you over the head with a metal pipe
This fuckass fit lmao. Bro looks like kaname date
beatrice umineko is quickly becoming a top tier character for me i love how fucking mean she is. i have a problem
girl who will kill your whole family and then go back in time just to do it all again lmfao
I often question the addition of sci-fi or fantasy elements in a mystery story. Because once you add impossible machines or magic to the list of possible explanations, it can deflate a lot of the stakes and intrigue of the story. A deus ex machina like that makes the impossible possible, and if it's not set up very well it can remove the possibility for the audience to solve the mystery. This kinda happened for me with Somnium Files and Ace Attorney, for instance. Sci-fi and fantasy elements blur the lines of what's possible, and multiply the possible explanations endlessly. So by contrast, Umineko is doing something really interesting.
Right out the gate, we're offered an explanation: Beatrice claims "it was me, and I did it with magic." And it's not about whether that's a valid explanation or not. It's about whether there are *other* explanations. Is there a way for these murders to happen WITHOUT the use of a deus ex machina like magic? Can you come up with a way? Is there a way to prove it? You can't disprove the possibility of magic. Blah blah "Devil's Proof." But you can make it uncertain. By offering alternative explanations, you can sow doubt. And even if you can't prove your explanation, it's just as valid as "a witch did it." Devil's Proof goes both ways. It's compelling stuff.
Umineko is about god's favorite reddit atheist having a heated argument with an evil LARPer chick
Battler: a witch that makes you old? you can't expect me to believe that. it doesn't hold together logically
Maria: you can go meet the witch. but you'll get old
Battler: I won't get old
Battler:
Maria: hey
Battler: hey
Battler: I got old
