i was looking at old photos and i wanted to show you how our story went, a little

bronwyn and i met at age 12 but i dont have any photos from then, really, but this is from grade 9 science class when we were being goofs and i was 13

this is from our first ever sleepover, we couldn’t stop laughing and we were sleeping on a mattress on the floor and we went to boston pizza and got plastic rings that we both still have (bronwyn kept hers on a necklace after that)

i went to bronwyn’s cottage for the first time in the summer after grade 9

we had our first kiss in grade 10 when i was 14 and were in a weird kind of dating limbo period

then i moved to the states and turned 15 and told bronwyn i was in love with her and we visited every chance we could and she sent me flowers and packages

then i went to junior prom with her and bronwyn cut her hair

then we had the most beautiful summer where i spent 5 weeks at her cottage and i cut my hair

then i went back to miami for 12th grade and turned 16 and bronwyn was 17 and we went to senior prom together

then i moved back to canada for university when i was turning 17 and we finally lived in the same place again and we loved each other so much and got breakfast together every day

then after a beautiful summer we started living together when i was 18 and bronwyn was 19  and we went to bahrain together and bronwyn dyed her hair brown and now i get to see her every morning and every night and we adventure in our city and have a coffee shop and love each other more than i could have thought. there were periods of scary intense darkness but we love each other so much and i’ve never been happier. i’ve known bronwyn since i was 12 and now i’m almost 19 and i love her more and more.

i’m never on here anymore, but i wanted to share that almost a month ago bronwyn and i got engaged!! under a beautiful tree on a perfect day and for the rest of my life i get to pursue her and care for her and make her laugh. i’ve said this so many times but now more than ever: if this is all i get, it’s so much more than i could have hoped for.

This pitbull mix was a rescue going in for spay surgery when they noticed that she was bleeding from her ear.

It turns out that she has a second mouth inside one of her ears, complete with fully-formed teeth, gums, and mucus membranes. It even drools.

It was bleeding because one of the ear-teeth was chipped and broken, causing some cuts to her ear-gums. The ear-dentist extracted it.

Since being rescued she now lives with Heather Hernandez at the Mutt Misfits Animal Rescue Society. Her name is Toad. Tumblr has deleted a lot of my posts so please follow instagram to see more. INSTAGRAM / FACEBOOK / ETSY

This is real! A vet I know in a group said it’s her dog. They do dental cleanings on the ear-mouth when they do routine dental cleanings. People were asking if it’s a parasitic twin, which is one of the hypotheses, but at this time there is no plan to do further testing. Her vet said that Toad is a very good dog! <3

Tooth Infection: Can literally kill you and wreck your overall physical health. United States: Dentistry is a frivolous cosmetic luxury which we should bar the poor from having. To even have access to a dentist should be a sign of affluence akin to some forms of plastic surgery. How else will we laugh at the poor and their disgusting toothless mouths which showcase how inferior and uneducated they really are in comparison to our pearly-smiled perfection?

Like honestly?! I’m a nurse on a cardiac surgery unit. Do you have any idea how many patients I see every year have to go through open heart surgery to get a valve replacement because they got a tooth infection that caused endocarditis and vegetation on the heart valves? It’s appalling that people have to go through such a traumatic surgery when it could have been prevented by routine dental care.

I also once had a patient lose his fucking EYE because a tooth infection migrated into his sinuses and then his eye. And of course he had shit insurance so he didn’t get seen until it was too far gone for us to be able to save his eye. We did save his life but he was left without an eye and I can only imagine how much debt for that hospital bill.

The US healthcare system is so fucking broken.

Disney Princesses in casual wear

You know what I love about the WiR2 princesses?

1) How all the 2D princesses were so well translated to 3D. Like, they worked soooooo hard to maintain the original feel of the characters. I think my favorites are Tiana and Snow. Those 2 were really unique to begin with and even small mistakes could have massively changed how they looked.

2) How Anna and Elsa actually WERE changed from the original. Like, Anna has a more prominent and pointed nose and deeper dimples; Elsa has deeper set eyes, more delicate nose, and more prominent bridge. It feels like these were the models that were intended for Frozen but because of the development cluster fuck they ran short. They were decent models but they still felt rough and not right to me at the time. After these models were revealed, I realized the “not right” was this sense of unfinishedness.
