Do I really need one of these...?
I think I used to have a pinned post but unpinned it a couple of years ago in a fit of 'this is screaming into a void and nobody cares about who is providing them drops of dopamine'. I still think that's kind of true with the state of the internet and the world, but I decided to make another one as an exercise in introspection and to let anyone who wants to know a little more about me, since I'm trying to post fic and stuff again.
This is going to try and strike a balance between friendly and open disclosure and just giving someone a laundry list of all my trauma and squicks to exploit. I do not really believe in posting DNIs or lists of things for people to please tag for me, as I have been convinced that this is basically just bait for bad actors.
I'm generally anti-censorship, and believe fandom isn't activism, so I will not interact with people who carry on with "anti" rhetoric. If I notice someone doesn't want me to interact with them after the fact, I will back off, but I am not going to scour your blog for a list of rules before interacting with an individual post. Ship and let ship. Art is allowed to exist. You are responsible for your own online environment (and if you aren't, I assume you need an adult that isn't me). Occasionally, I enjoy art with some themes that a lot of antis tend to write off as inherently wrong to portray or like. It is not even close to the majority of what I enjoy, but if it's here, it'll be warned for, and it is your job to avoid your squicks.
If you wanna know more about me, please read. Interacting with the post with a like if you read it or something is also nice but not demanded.

Call me Prix. AFAB and mostly perceived as cis, gender-ambivalent. Often okay with being a girl or woman, but I also want to be an anime boy sometimes. I'm in my mid-30s. I've been doing online fandom since I was 11 or 12. I remember when it wasn't weird for adult people, especially women, to make up the majority of the vocal fandom that I was in. Therefore, I'm not going to tell minors not to interact at all. However, minors should not interact with adults about adult topics unless it's to ask trusted adults questions, so if I find someone interacting with me about a topic I find inappropriate based on age or any other context, I'll block you. I am going to assume that most people who want to interact with my online content are peers, meaning that I presume most people reading my stuff are adults, and I will behave accordingly.
I rarely engage with political or current events on here. Doesn't mean I am not engaged. I just try to separate this into a space that I can relax, have fun, and think about other things. That said, I am not a safe person for people who are in favor of genocide or far-right poison.
I'm a progressive, LGBTQIA(-affirming) Christian. I am still working on deconstructing some of the conservative Christian theology I grew up with that I have not directly confronted or figured out through developing my political identity, so I am not always super vocal about it on here, but if you are interested in perusing or filtering, you can look at #religion and #christianity
This blog comes and goes, as does its contents. I am a very fandom-centric person, so you will often see whatever I am into in the moment. I have a handful of specific sideblogs, but it varies as to whether or not I will post stuff on main.
Currently kind of into nostalgic emo/scene/whimsigoth stuff.
If there's anything else someone would like to know, just ask?

I am pretty good about tagging stuff, so an exhaustive tag list would be completely impractical. In general, I tag common nouns as plurals. Here are some useful or commonly-used tags:
general. #funny / #personal tag real name tba / #animals / #tumblr (about the interface, use, current tumblr-specific events, features, etc) / #tumblr culture / #internet culture / #pretty pictures / #me / #mood / #art / #fanart / #writing / #writing process / #employment / #adulting / #neat stuff / #poetry / #inspiration / #shipping / #tropes / #fandom culture / #fandom history / #replies / #tumblr polls / #mine

fandom.
In general, I just use the name of the fandom or character. Specific abbreviations I can remember using are: #mdzs (all iterations of the story about Wei Wuxian and co), #btvs (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), #sg1 (Stargate SG-1), #bnha (My Hero Academia), #pmmm (I can't remember if I've even posted about this on this blog but Puella Magi Madoka Magica). For anime fandoms, I sometimes use the Western name order but usually default to the Japanese one. For Death Note in particular, I use the Western one because that fandom has in-universe reasons to at times. I tag ship-specific posts with a tag for the ship and don't always put the individual character names.
I never post anything with no tags at all, so try your luck to see if I've ever posted about any topic you can imagine. Sometimes I make tags deliberately unindexed if it's just there to trip filters such as mentioning a common squick.
sideblogs.
Some of these were set up on a wish and a prayer. Some of them are more vested with actual posts. If they exist, it is probably because at some point I was particularly motivated to contribute heavily to the fandom, but whether or not I ever did is also anyone's guess to be invested or inquired about on AO3. If you check one out and it's dead, nudge me about it with an ask or something, and you might be the change you want to see.
@couslandofhighever - an actual separate account for a Dragon Age blog that I was really active on during 2020 but not so much now but do still occasionally check on. If and when I replay, might be more active.
@prixmiumarchive - my original tumblr blog from 2011 until I kind of quit in 2018
@prixmiumcontent - a sideblog where I posted a few long-form Doctor Who episode meta posts/reviews that I intended to eventually use to do a lot of other media posts about. I have gotten some good feedback on the posts I wrote, but I stopped because my old computer broke, and I stopped making gifs. I was originally making a gifset to go with each of the posts I made but got irritated that the easy-to-consume images got a lot more notes than the actual posts.
@millenniumblog - my YuGiOh sideblog that is my most successful sideblog venture. Apparently, I am a good YuGiOh post curator. I get back into YuGiOH DM a couple itmes a decade and make actual original posts. I'm really into it for the chracters and worldbuilding concepts, but learning the actual rules of trading card games hurts my brain.
@districtxii - sideblog I made during my most recent Hunger Games fandom relapse. I also intend for it to be a sort of Appalachian themed thing and talk about things like Old Gods of Appalachia and so on if I ever get around to it.
@dyinginlasvegas - for a minute in late 2019/early 2020, I was writing this Fallout: New Vegas fanfic that I was really confident and excited about. Then, life changed, and I stopped working on it. Ever since, I have thought about going back to it, and this is kind of an aesthetic blog that I intended to help me with that. So it's like a FNV sideblog but very vibes-only and has few posts.
@paimondotcom - Genshin Impact sideblog that will also be general Hoyo I guess with the addition of Honkai: Star Rail if I ever get more active on it.

fandom.
I'm into a bunch of stuff, and it is rare that I completely sour or bore of a fandom. When I first started this blog, I was still really into Type Moon/Fate. I haven't been in a few years, but as mentioned, I rarely hate things I used to be active in. Some current, recent, or unexhausted fandoms include:
Death Note ā Honkai: Star Rail ā Gensin Impact ā Trigun (esp. Stampede; I have not yet seen Stargaze) ā John Dies at the End (books/the author) ā MDZS (I was watching the live action but am now watching the animated, neither quite finished) ā Boku no Hero Academia ā Haikyuu ā YuGiOh Duel Monsters ā Dragon Age (esp 2) ā Frieren ā AMC IWTV
While not very active in them anymore, I used to be very into Doctor Who and Stargate SG-1. I also like Type Moon in a general sense. I like documentary shows and podcasts. I watch a lot of YouTube about various topics. I am terrible at finishing things, but I don't really care much about most spoilers.
Death Note has very quickly become the fandom I have been most-active in on this particular tumblr account. That kind of came out of nowhere and blindsided me. I am excited, but understand that this blog is a very subject-to-change experience.
