O Romeo, Romeo
Slipping through my fingers
Tim is the funniest person in the world. Fight me. Tim "I cannot be any clearer that I am an employee" Drake, folks.
⚡️⚡️Marvel-Verse Collide⚡️⚡️
This is just a fun little art thing for the Billy Batson lovers out there. The only thing you need to do is draw your Billy (normal or AU). Please feel free to join!
“Imagine your so small and cold and scared but there’s smaller ones that are smaller and colder and more scared”
I finally got caught up with the new nightwing
💥💥💥💥💥BILLY TIME 💥💥💥💥💥
I did it, guys! I drew the Whiz kid and his little deeds. I love the idea of Billy interviewing other heroes and being a sassy little guy. GUH, I wish there was more stuff for my boy. 😔
The day Billy was chosen must’ve been so life changing for the magic world.
I have a headcanon that before he was chosen, since Adam was the only champion he was still, unofficially, champion. He didn’t have duties or respect or anything like that, but he had the title.
Magic was different back then. It felt hollow to them. Darker. They performed it and they performed it well, but they felt jaded. For more powerful users like Fate, it was like touching fire. Writing with magic resulted in sparks and pain.
And then Billy was chosen, and everything just felt so different.
Everyone from Fate, Giovanni, Constantine, Xanadu, Spectre, you name it. They could all feel that something had changed. A ripple, if you will.
Suddenly, magic was more in tune with the soul of its user than ever. There was a lightness to it. A fluidity that wasn’t there before. And, for just a few seconds, they could feel the curiousness, the happiness, the intense emotions of a child.
For everyone else, it was probably the best day of their life.
Mary saw it from her window one day and felt a tug towards it. Adam seethed knowingly.
And Billy? Billy ran all the way back to his hideout and freaked out for the next 24 hours.
this is actually so funny. imagining garth quipping and contributing to the conversation in his head cause he forgot the rest of the teen titans can't pick up on his telepathy
oops
This is so important to me
This reminds me of Batman the animated series. Like idk how to put it. But … the hero not just being someone to point out in the sky who comes and goes. but the hero being amongst the people and knowing them in an almost casual sense. Not hey it’s Batman jumping from roof to roof it’s hey Batman nice to see you again. Like yeah Batman can still be that cryptic being but seeing batman can also be like seeing an old friend, or greeting a good neighbor.
… and seeing the red hood / Jason be like that is everything to me. Makes me wanna cry. Dammit am I about to rewatch the animated series!!!??? Yes
Thinking about how Billy's whole thing is that he constantly chooses kindness, and giving, and helping, even when he has all the reason not to.
He is orphaned, then abused, then left to fend for himself on the streets, then has to face horrors beyond our comprehension to keep the world safe. All by age, like, twelve.
He has every right to be bitter. To be angry. To say "to hell with the world" and do something for himself. But he doesn't. (Not that he never does anything selfish, but that it's rarely at a time that matters. He never puts his own needs about the needs of others)
This boy is a veteran before his voice even breaks. And yet always chooses to help others.
It's what sets him apart, to me, from other heroes. He wasn't just raised to be a good guy so is, like Clark, because he wasn't raised.
Yet he's still kind, and there's something in that.
So in my class we name our glue sticks to stop the kids losing or mistreating them - they're much less likely to lose a glue lid if you're shouting "oh no, Alfred's been decapitated". It's fun.
Now, I'm a big batfam girlie ✨ so naturally I named all our glues after these characters. We have Richard and Bruce and Stephanie and Barbara etc. you see the point.
Recently, the first glue stick ran out. It had to go in the bin so unfortunately it "died", and you'll never guess which glue stick was the first to die...
It was Jason.
You could not conceive the sound I made as I had to throw Jason in the bin as all the children shouted things like "Jason's dead" and "noooo Jason!"
Worst things worse, I couldn't even explain how ironic that was that Jason, the second robin, was the first glue to go!
Had the weirdest dream a few nights ago where Tim was like 10 and a half ghost (how that happened it was not explained) and he used his powers to run around and get into places, but then his parents died and out of desperation he went with Vlad, who he knew was also a half ghost but not a villain, and tried to convince him that he was smart and useful (he probably knew he was at least shady?) and to please take him in, and the story went somewhere else from there but I couldn’t get that scene out of my head until I drew it so here, the thing
I saw your art where you mentioned absolutely adoring stories where Tim Drake gets in deep shit and goes "I can handle this absolutely 100% no need to call anyone else for anything" but he is so very, very wrong. I have a recommendation for you. Into The Deep dark Night by Siren_of_the_ocean on Ao3. It's incredibly well written and without any spoilers: Tim Drake goes underwater. Tim Drake comes out of the water. Tim Drake goes on patrol like nothing happened. No one noticedTim Drake was underwater for 3 days, except of course for Tim Drake himself.
Omg, you’re so riiiight, I know it’s been a little while since I got this ask but I’ve been kinda busy and was only able to read the fic this week but gdhsgsjd, my boy really had the worst happen to him and went “Yeah, but bad things are normal for vigilantes, no biggie, I can handle it :)))”
Thank you for the recommendation, I really enjoyed it!!! I wanted to make a drawing for it because the beginning it’s kinda spooky and I love that stuff, fun stuff! 💛
O wheel of wisdom, what is thy knowledge today? – When in doubt, use Lovecraftian themes
The Drake bloodline is an old family bloodline. Not old by Gotham City standards—but old in blood and rituals. Historian Jack and archeologist Janet Drake started to dig their fingers into these old roots, filled with rites and ancient knowledge—some of which are better left to the lost annals of history.
It is Tim who pays the price.

These are the pieces I made for the @batbigbang , my partner was the super awesome writer @carabesh !!
Who doesn’t like putting their blorbos trough eldritch horrors, amiright? But seriously, this fic is SO cool, and this was a super fun collab!
It’s “And suffer not man to tell that he hath looked upon them” by Carabesh on AO3, here’s the LINK, go read it and the other fics from the event, they’re all super fun!
Don’t mess with Nightwing if he didn’t already beat you up his siblings sure will something about protective younger siblings is just <3 gotta admit I only drew Riddler bc I always wanted to try drawing him in that Question mark jacket I saw on pinterest one time
The audio is not mine, I can‘t find the originator on Insta anymore I think they removed their reel
